if alinn could make a single wish, what would it be? what is his favourite food? what sort of leader is he both during and after the blight? what are his opinions on his fellow companions? and most importantly, has he ever licked a lamppost in winter?
First off Bless your soul
If he could have one wish he would want the circles to be abolished and for some form of mage run academic setting to be set up instead. Also for the rite of tranquility to never be used EVER.
His favorite food is probably anything sweet. I feel like anything really sweet was rare in the circle so he ended up spending all of his money on sugary stuff when he got out. This kid has a major sweet tooth.
He was a I-am-making-this-up-as-I-go leader for a majority of the blight, mostly just making decisions based on his own moral compass regardless of how popular those decisions would make him. When the decisions he made were directly effecting his friends he made sure to do whatever made them happy or safest. After the Blight he made most of his decisions based on the big picture even if it meant making decisions he really did not want to make (ex: letting amaranthine burn)
He loves p much all of his companions omg. Him and alistair are super close. He doesn’t believe in the maker but he finds Leliana’s ideas about the maker comforting. Him and Zevran are super married its adorable. He admires Morrigan and the fact that she was able to be free her entire life and is a bit envious of that, also learning how to shapeshift from her was a lot of fun. He deeply respects Wynne and usually takes her advice to heart. Hearing sten talk about how mages are treated under the qun makes Alinn really uncomfortable, the idea that there is any fate worse than the circle really upsets him. He finds it really hard to talk to oghren, and in awakening some of the stuff he says just makes Alinn kindof stop talking to him like the racist elf comments and the templar joke.
And last but not least: Yes, he has indeed licked a lamppost in winter

faenharel Some advice please?Wacom in general is...
That’s a cinteq, it’s like 5000 dollars haha. What you want in a tablet tho is the levels of pen pressure. Lowest end has 256, next is 512, etc. The intuos models are probably the highest i’d go price wise.
Ahahahaha, so maybe not those then. But that’s really helpful thanks :) From the sounds of it, i’ll probably go for this one then and hope it arrives in time for me going home next week

i read the book all the way through, like, 8 years ago or something, but its a rare instance where the movie is better than the book. (although i think the movie came first…)
Kubrick and Clarke worked on their projects at the same time (Kubrick even co-wrote the book, in fact), but the novel was published after the release of the film, yes.
though I heard the movie is really confusing. no first hand experience, though.
FIRST and LAST B)
FIRST — the first two sentences of my current project
LAST — the most recently written two sentences of my current project
this is technically the project I am working on so I’ll do it first:
First: Fiction is incredibly influential. How manytimes have we heard—or have said, ourselves—“this novel changed my life.”
Last: It is that emotional intensity that gives videogames their potential for transformation amongst their audience, especiallywhen considering that the memory cannot distinguish between emotionally chargedexperiences in their various realities, such as physical world or dreamworld—as Hillman is quick to remind us in HealingFiction. A well-written video game can offer a player a forum in which toexplore his or her own personal mythology and thereby help younger generationsto know themselves as individuals.
but since i think this is supposed to be fiction I’ll do that too:
First: Mansfield, South Carolina wasn’t a large town—only a thousand souls or so, and mostly spread out over about ten square miles of farm land. The downtown had one road with the grocery store, post office, pharmacy, a couple of diners, and several churches—each dedicated to a different face of the same God, all but the Catholic one.
Last: “Lay a hand on my sister and I’ll break every bone in it.” Frank snorted and took the girl’ arm. Marie clamped her fingers around his wrist and wrenched it away from Beth, dragged him bodily forward and slammed his hand in the car door as hard as she could.[okay, i cheated, that was three, but i felt there needed to be context]
