love the idea of feral, time traveler paimon just skipping all the nations, and dragging a confused mc all the way to nod krai.
MC... definitely has a lot of questions, because Paimon was NOT acting like she remembered from her faint memories of the game...
And Nod Krai? She wants them to go all the way to Nod Krai? But what about Mondstadt-
It only takes one fearful look from Paimon's eyes- why does she look so scared? -and MC goes quiet.
"O-ok, Paimon... lets go to Nod Krai..."
So, after skipping Mondstadt, with MC giving a sad look at the nation of freedom, feeling sad she wouldn't be able to help Dvalin like in the game-
...But unknown to her, this little change in canon is what saved her from a neverending hell... and Paimon would like to keep it that way.
They eventually make it to Liyue, where Paimon hustles MC towards the harbor, and after talking around, they find a boat that was just so happen to be ready to head Nod Krai that day.
And so, after a long travel by sea, the duo makes it to Nod Krai... and Paimon can feel like she can breath again.
Here, in this rough place, she and MC can live quietly. It helped that MC never had a chance to get her 'awful reputation' yet, so in the eyes of the locals, they were just two girls who were looking to disappear...
Hm... I actually see them maybe coming to live with Aino and Ineffa. I think it would be nice, even if Paimon doesn't enjoy all the metal noises all hours of the day, but it was nice.
It felt like a home... safe and sound, no danger... besides Aino's robots accidentally exploding that is. And the wild hunt, especially the wild hunt, but that was ok too since the Lightkeepers kept the peace.
Speaking of the lightkeepers, Paimon knows for a fact that one of the younger members, Illuga, she thinks was his name, had been giving her friend little looks whenever they stop at the bar to grab some food sometimes.
MC, whenever she catches these looks, turns absolutely shy and blushy... and Illuga acts similar when she waves at him.
Oh... these two... oh gosh, they like one another?! Ahhh! Paimon knew coming to Nod Krai was a good choice! Now her friend can be really happy this time around!
Though... Paimon did have to figure out how to get these two to confess to one another... hm..
...There was a small hiccup in Paimon's plans, however. Ineffa. She felt this urge to go to Natlan, and a tearful Aino asked MC and Paimon if they go with her.
Paimon immediately wanted to say no-
Because all she could remember is the Pyro Archon chasing them, and that dark cave, and MC's laying there-
But MC says yes. Poor, innocent MC says yes, completely clueless to what happened to her once upon another timeline... but ok, fine, Paimon can work with this.
All they needed to do was keep their heads down, help Ineffa with whatever she was doing, and get the fuck back to Nod Krai.
...Needless to say, the whole thing was a mess! They nearly died! Oh, and Ineffa got a Electro vision, but hey, they can go back home now!
But now that they're back in Nod Krai, Paimon can finally start her grand plan for getting MC and Illuga together! ...Ugh, but she needed some help... maybe that creepy lightkeeper she's seen Illuga talk to sometimes can help her?
