She glances up cautiously from the coffee cup in her hands. She remains silent, pondering her thoughts. She should have known that a question like this would have popped up at some point, though Annabelle had sincerely hoped it would have been avoided. She didn’t like talking about the dark memories that flooded her mind each night she went to sleep. She just wanted to forget about it all and tell Oliver to not ask such a thing - to never ask it - but it wasn’t in the shy girl’s nature to do such a thing. Years of abused and neglect had made it almost impossible for the girl to speak back, even to someone who had showed her nothing but complete and utter kindness. 

                                              “I’m okay.”

She lied, though her heart continued to thunder violently inside of her chest - a simple reaction she had whenever she avoided the truth. Though she knew deep down that Oliver would never hurt her, she couldn’t help the reflex response her body gave her. It had been warped into behaving that way after the years of abuse. She tried her best to smile but it was apparent it was forced so she quickly removed it. She took another sip of the coffee that was slowly waking her up, cupping it tightly in her hands and allowing the warmth to flood through her body.

                                             “I mean, I-- I’ve had worst nights:                                               nights where I couldn’t even get to sleep                                               at all, so I guess a little bit of sleep is                                               better than none. --Right?”

So far, what I've gathered from our comments, our Vibelle storyline included

When Annabelle is first brought to the Cullens, Victor is the only ones that she trusts wholly and completely (aside from Jasper and Alice of course).

Even though Victor is apart of the Cullens, the rest of the family don't like the idea of Victor being around Annabelle due to his lack of control over his shifts. 

Both Annabelle and Victor are upset when they are kept apart, because of the imprint bond that drives them together. 

I think we also included that Victor shifts near Annabelle, almost harms her, and his lack of control gains attention from the Volturi, so they come down planning to kill Victor. 

And then I think it was also that the Cullens find out that in order for Victor to control himself, he needs to be near Annabelle because she's the only one that calms him down.

I'm pretty sure thats all of it, well all that I can find. Let me know if Ive missed anything ^.^
