It was one thing that the gods did not seem to understand of humans, much to his frustration. The gods were unchanging, or at least believed themselves to be, whereas humanity embraced change as an integral part of their existence. 

Perhaps that was why immortality felt like such a curse to him.

"Rose? Are you there?" She calls loudly. Aradia moved closer to the human's ship, glancing around and then continued to walk beside around it, calling her name.

Rose stops what she's doing, sewing something new and frowns. She is fairly certain she recognizes the voice.

"Aradia!" She finds her way to the troll carefully, storm whipping her hair. "You shouldn't be out here!"
