okay in all seriousness, we all know that some poc aren’t connected with their culture. but white people or really,,, if ur not of that ethnicity that ur trying to portray,, don’t use that excuse. ur all just bein lazy fucks lol no one should be usin that line unless u got a damn good reason

tbh those people who aren’t connected with their culture are rare. the only people who should be allowed to go down that route are people who share the same ethnicity as that character or if it’s explicitly stated in canon ( i don’t accept the “oh it’s not shown on screen so theyre not connected well w their culture )

BUT that’s just my opinion ^_^

i did the jim gordon batman storyline before DC did. DC ripped off my work ... except they put him in an armored mech suit which was ... admittedly really cool. but in my storyline bruce fucked up during a routine fight, like badly, and escaped to the sewers of gotham city since his equipment was damaged and couldn’t call the batmobile, and the manhole was right there. gordon finds him by a trail of blood leading into the sewers once gcpd arrives on the scene and bruce asks jim to carry on the mantle, to not let the dream and idea of batman die, because gotham needed him, not bruce wayne. he also asked jim to put him out of his misery, too. so jim gordon had to kill his closest friend and confidant and carry on the legacy of batman and he wrestles with the resentment of bruce that comes as a result of this (at this point, jim knew for a little while that bruce was batman, sort of like the whole trope that he knew the entire time but didn’t wanna admit it to himself) and the death of his friend. as well as maintaining a family life and his role as commissioner. i’m creative ^w^

whisky eyes pivot , her expression is fiercely set, brows wrinkled in concentration, neon light only serves to highlight the dark shadows gathered beneath her eyes.         “     so  you’re  the  new  enforcer  .     “
