Hello! My family has recently hit some financial issues and while I had been considering taking theme commissions for a while, it might be a touch necessary now. I’ve been roleplaying for a long time and been slowly developing my theme style. I don’t know if it’s quite where I would like it to be yet but I know I am constantly improving and impressing myself. I cannot charge for a background which uses fanart unless you own said fanart (i.e. you’ve commissioned it or you drew it) so it is unlikely I will make you a background if you want to use fanart as I would have to do so for free. If you own the art or you would like official art or screen-caps used, I will be charging. I do not mind helping you select screencaps, official art, etc for your background! Further details on this will be included in the pricing section. It is preferred I make the background given that it will look better with my coding, but keep in mind the rule about official art or owning the fanart.
In order to commission me, we will need to discuss what you want out of your theme. That means I want your input over color scheme, layout, text, etc. The design process will still be my own. As I complete parts or renditions of the theme, I will show you my progress and if there are glaring things you would like altered, we can consult on them together. I will be working to give you the most polished product that suits your desires as I possibly can.
As I am a student also looking for a part-time job outside of this, I will have to schedule around other obligations. I will do my best to give you an accurate time frame which I will work to meet but I do require understanding if there is a slight delay.
This should go without saying but: I am coding this for you and you are paying me for my work. Absolutely do not take credit for my work, copy parts of my code to pass as your own elsewhere, give out my code to other parties, etc. The code is yours to keep, use, break to hell and back, whatever suits your fancy, but maintaining credit for all of my work is not only ethical but could help me out if other people wish to commission me!
Simple code + background: $25
More complex code (ie. inclusion of popups, etc; will be determined case by case): $25
Complex code + background: $35
My coding is a bit messy but I will make it easy for you to edit popups and what not. If your request will require a lot of extra time getting it to work (I will always spend as much time working on a request getting it to work if I can) then I may charge a bit more, but I will always inform you of that possibility.
(these exmaples all include fanart as they were all done for my own personal use, or a friend who did not commission me. the rule still applies for all commissions as I would be profiting from them.)
