DS moves along the ground with his wings folded tightly against his sides, as flying proves to be difficult whilst a snowstorm is brewing. Carrying a plump rabbit in his jaws, he bounds through the snow, sending it into the air in some places and almost falling into deep spots at others. As he reaches Karkat's cave, he shakes his feathers out and walks inside, looking around. He caws a quiet greeting and looks around for him.

Clinging to his chest (and having been doing so during the whole trip) is Lecide, who puffs his down feathers up, shakes them off, and hops off of his father to imitate him without getting a mouthful of feathers. DS smirks at him and sits back onto his haunches, wagging his tail and holding tightly onto the rabbit between his teeth.
