In fact… He gives Gamzee a firm poke with one of his claws. “This is my territory, those are my trees, and I’m gonna kick your ass if you don’t move it out of here.”

And to throw icing on the cake he swipes his claws at Gamzee’s shoulder. Just to annoy him.

Gamzee lets out a long-suffering sigh and drags himself onto his hooves, no less than towering over the little orange screeching thing and dusting himself off.  He flexes his hands, knuckles cracking, before subsequently cracking his neck to either side and glowering down at DS.

DS was just flying around and hunting when one—no, two familiar smells hit him. Slowly turning and following the scent, he soon found himself at Karkat’s cave, looking at both he and Gamzee cuddling. Of course, being as the two dominant trolls don’t particularly get along, DS found himself a bit frustrated and promptly cawed a greeting to Karkat.
