Slytherin with and Eagle owl. 😀
Owls are the “rulers of the night,” with excellent vision and silent, deadly grace when on the hunt. More than anything they have been associated with wisdom – even the Greco-Roman goddess of wisdom, Athena, was often depicted with an owl on her shoulder. Eagle owls are the largest of their kind, with distinctive, sharp ear tufts and bright orange eyes. They can live in diverse habitats, but often tend to spread out, not being much one for large social flocks. Eagle Owls also rarely make noise except during the winter months, primarily for defending their territory and secondly for courting and mating.
Having an Eagle Owl as your Patronus means you find comfort in solitude. You are a great representation of Slytherin individualism – you enjoy your own company and have no trouble taking time for yourself. Now, of course, this doesn’t mean you’re antisocial – you have friends and you love spending time with them – but you are likely introverted or ambiverted enough that you like to have time to yourself to recharge. You are a thoughtful person who always thinks before you speak, but once you choose to, everyone listens. Like many other Slytherins, you also likely prefer a small, intimate friend group to a large, impersonal one. Should you ever find yourself overwhelmed by the noise and chaos of depression, your Patronus will swoop to your rescue. It will soar out of your wand, screeching furiously at your adversary, and will beat it back. You’ll be enveloped in a soft, warm bubble that will give you the space you need to both clear your head and once again hold it up high.
