Every time I read Ferdinand's dialogue to Miranda in The Tempest Act III Scene I, this happens. I keep reading Ferdinand calling himself "patient log man" and all I can think of is "Bog Man". It is destroying my life. And I have polls. So I will ask you this in my first silly little poll.

What do you think when Ferdinand calls himself a "log man"? What about now?

A man who carries logs (like a human being.) But now I will remember bog man

Used to call him bog man. Will still call him bog man.

Never called him a bog man and never will.

He is NOT the bog man, Stephano and Trinculo are.
