Back this Kickstarter! (Link in our profile.) Every now and then the opportunity comes along to help make something magical happen. In 1968, five experienced advertising designers and artists decide to break away from their current jobs, FEREF was born. Over the course of the next fifty years, they would work on some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and a plethora of uniquely British home-spun movies. For them, it was a job. They received a brief. They designed a layout. They painted the artwork. They moved on to the next one. For us, they created some of the most iconic movie posters of all time. They helped colour our childhood. So, when Feref's current management discovered that hidden away, in an off-site storage facility, they had an astonishing collection of concepts, layout designs and completed artworks, they hatched a plan - 'Feref Unseen'. Their goal? To share the archive in a book that tells the story from studio brief, through multiple concepts and layouts to finished artwork. That celebrates amazing artists and that inspires the next generation to leave their mark. And we can all help it happen. The book is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign. The Kickstarter campaign has a target of £10,000 and already has over £7,000 pledged.
