my tablet rebelled while i was making this. more in-depth stuff under the cut template by senaizuuchan

ancano confessed first because the apprentices (brelyna, mainly) made it clear that it was painfully obvious he had a thing for feri, and that ferivas was head over heels for him, but wasnt going to make a move to get out of the friendzone anytime soon bc he’s a nervous man. this is the first of two times he’s taken initiative

feri has a habit (left over from his time with nwe....) of apologizing immediately and profusely once he sees his partner’s upset, even if he doesnt really mean it

this one really depends more on who theyre around but since they live at the college feri fit the best

nearly 70 years of raising a kinda sickly son all on his own has left ancano a master at forcing chicken soup down sick people’s throats and muttering half-hearted “you’re alright”s to make them feel comfortable

ancano says he helps with the cooking bc he doesnt trust a blind man to prepare his food but its rly because he feels kind of shitty for letting feri do all the work around the house (even though feri insists on and enjoys it)

i took this one to mean “in serious situations” rather than “around friends”

quick reminder that ancano killed a man for ferivas once

my anc is sober and also his boyfriend is blind so

it is very nice to look at but its not really a fair comparison, on account of feri not knowing how to write

ancano’s had more partners, but feri has more experience with serious, long-term relationships

feri is painfully empathetic. “fun” fact: this led to him picking up on any little red flags ancano was giving that he was being corrupted by the eye, but since he didnt know it was the eye affecting him, feri was terrified that he had another nwe on his hands

ancano proposed first and feri was really quietly like “shit.”

theyre both more than willing to die for each other, but the man that ancano killed six points up very nearly killed him so im pretty sure he’s all out of luck and is more likely to be slaughtered trying to protect feri
