How to prepare fermented rice water?
First, gather your ingredients: uncooked rice and filtered water. Choose a good rice variety like black, brown, or white rice for best results.
Next, rinse half a cup of uncooked rice thoroughly to remove impurities. Place the rinsed rice in a clean bowl and add two cups of filtered water. Let it soak for 30 minutes to an hour to absorb nutrients.
After soaking, strain the rice and collect the water in a separate container. Cover it with a clean cloth or lid and let it sit at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours to ferment. This process develops beneficial enzymes and nutrients for your skin.
Store the fermented rice water in a sealed container in the fridge to keep it fresh. Use it as a gentle toner after cleansing your face with a cotton pad. You can also use it as a hair rinse or in DIY face masks for extra nourishment.
Fermented rice water is a natural, effective way to enhance your skincare routine and promote healthy skin and hair.
