While I’m on the bitching about the writers train:

Why is Fern perfectly okay? I mean, we could argue that she’s hyper-focusing on finding who framed her as a coping method.

But, like, just because she knows her abuser is dead, doesn’t mean she’s suddenly perfectly ok. Just because she has a job and isn’t living on the streets now doesn’t mean that all that trauma just disappears. ESPECIALLY now that she’s being accused of not 1, but 2 (!!!!!) crimes! In fact, that would probably increase her fear and anxiety!

Seeing her dad in the hospital? There’s no way she dealt with that in a healthy way, there’s NO WAY. You can’t tell me she didn’t take anything when Daniel was put in that coma. You can’t tell me she’s not looking over her shoulder still. That doesn’t just go away. Especially when you believe someone is after your dad, and thus you to get to him.

Fern is strong and brave and stubborn, yes. But, she’s also a trauma survivor and those psychological effects don’t just disappear once the abuser is out of your life.

Harrow is genuinely such a good show, cause it has this mystery solving dude who is using his knowledge for good but also he keeps doing shady things and this starts in s1 he is established as a character with 2 very distinct sides as he is manipulating the narrative and the people around him
