In an alternate universe in which somehow Fernand became a thaumaturge and thus even more dangerous.

His miracle would grant him 360 vision, that's about it. The downside is that it doesn't help his ability to shoot with a crossbow, and that it causes headaches. But he looks scary so there is an intimidating factor.

Luckily I won't use this version of Fernand, the base version is already hard to play I don't want more difficulty.

Guide to defeating Fernand

When faced with this almost 2 meter tall, very determined inquisition soldier. You might think you are done for, but fear not ! Here are 10 things that will help you escape.

- Go for the ankles, knees or stomach. If you are fast enough he won't have time to react. Hitting hard enough should keep him stunned for a bit.

- Hide under something. He can't crawl fast. You can also stay there until he gives up but it may take a while.

- Bargain. Tho a bit risky, bargaining with Fernand can work. Especially if it involves getting more work done. However, lying could end up in a bad way.

- If you are a dormitor, send your smallest nemesis. He can't do much against a nemesis. Plus, he is terrified at the idea of being infected.

- If you are undercover as an inquisitor, claim friendly fire. Or threaten to take it to the higher ups. Fernand doesn't like that.

- If you have a link to any high ranked person or inquisitor. Use that. Especially if it happens to be Ullmina.

- If you have a weapon : go for the knees. Inquisitor don't have any protection there. If tall enough, go for the elbows.

- Make him stuck. If he can't move but you can, then you won.

- Exhaust him out. What Fernand has in size, he lacks in stamina. This is one of the best ways to escape.

- Get in risky situations. Fernand gets injured easily so don't be afraid to run down dangerous paths, or along slippery roads.

Bonus : Tell him he is a bastard child of General Torque. He'll be focusing so hard on how to react to it you'll have time to escape. However it only works once.

I hadn't drawn Fernand in a long time but trust me : it is not a good thing that he is in the spotlight once again because boy oh boy is he going to dislike it.

Now this drawing ? It may seem like a bad event for Fernand, but he always looks kind of dead inside. He isn't, but he looks like it. This ? This is just a regular Tuesday. He has a lot of nosebleeds, either from accidentally walking into a door frame or from dropping something on his face. It happens. Now the thing is, he is kind of nervous, right ? That drawing would sort of take place before the celebration and meeting of generals in act 3 and our boy Fern' doesn't really want to fall face flat on the ground in front of people he admires and would give his life for. He doesn't want to look like some tall, frail idiot who breaks bones every month.

He doesn't know it yet but falling or walking into a pole or even just, having nosebleeds during the event and in front of the generals and marshal isn't going to be the worst thing about that night.

But more in another drawing I guess ? I'm preparing the terrain for book 18 hehe

I have decided to give Fernand a friend first name that came to mind was Colin. Colin is much more chaotic than Fernand but unlike Fernand he does question the morality of orders. The only reason he has not been fired or executed yet is because a) he doesn't get caught and b) Fernand protects him because he wouldn't want to be separated from his childhood friend.

Now I just need to work more on the guy, He'd probably be a mechanic or something.

Summer Camp Fernand, charged with looking after the young ones but they are scared of him. That or they keep headbutting him in the knees and so he just spends more time at the infirmary than looking after the kids.

Fernand's last name, Kleiningwer is made of "Klein" and "Ingwer" which means "Small Ginger"

Meet (Or re-meet) Fernand Kleiningwer, my Radiant oc. He is an inquisitor. I have a bunch more info on him but I will make him a proper refsheet entry soon.

Despite his sweet face, messy hair and calm look this man is a menace. Following every order given to him, his size and his crossbow Ouragan make him a war machine.

But could that loyalty to the inquisition one day backfire on him ?

I wanna draw my Radiant OC, Fernand, in summer.

Not because it's cute, or hot.

But because I just know that Fernand would have massive sunburns and tanlines because he thinks he is too strong for sunscreen.
