It was early when sparked our desire to see what awaited us on the other side of the window.
We breathe deep and we continued in strides and determined, against the clouds that insisted on covering the sun.
When crossing the bridge towards the Centro Niemeyer Avilés we marveled with their flamboyant colors and details delightfully placed by travelers. The fascinating architecture of this center, which almost touches the sky and embraces the river brings us to the sensory side of this route.
We follow way. Unplanned routes, guides forgotten even makes the trip more palatable.
Each crossed site is a new memory saved in a very special place. The smoke coming out of the factory and that leaves the air a little sadder, the athlete who shudders the bridge and the train that awakens the wind.
The downtown awaits us. The art is present in the street and presents itself in a very natural way. It is a contemporary culture that replaces the museum by the walking, the theater by the avenue and the atelier by the sidewalk.
The green enters the bus, along with the smell of earth and the magic of rural houses. The merchant explains us that the houses are high ground to protect the crops from rodents. People from the field that protect their crops, building true huts worth of postcards in souvenir shops.
Already at the airport, we feel in the heart the sadness of departure, however the certainty of return. The plane took in the passport, one more journey, another discovery, another conquest.
