is the Division any good, or do you think it's not gonna have any longevity?
Right now I’d tentatively recommend it, based on what I’ve seen in the beta and what it looks like the main game is going to be. If you read and enjoyed DMZ you’ll probably enjoy this game based on aesthetics alone. If you liked Destiny, for the gameplay, this is gonna be for you. If you can play fairly regularly with a group of friends to run missions and hit the darkzone in you’re gonna have a much better time of it than if you just played solo and it’ll have a lot more replay value as well.
Basically it comes down to whether or not you’re okay with the idea of ‘longevity’ being lots of repeated PVP & PVE grinding in a group. Destiny seems to have held up decently with that, and it’s how every MMO ever released functions, so I can see it having some lasting power if Ubisoft continues to support it like they need to but it really seems to be aimed at a specific group of people as well, you know?
