Endpoint.
2 weeks and 6 Couchsurfers later, I am now starting to get a feel about the kind of surfers I like to host. Apart from being genuinely excited to meet the people I actually sent out invitations to, I did not really have a definite idea of what I wanted out of this experience. It was exciting, and some might say a little risky, but as a whole, I was just looking for distractions.
As such, I wasn't really picky about who I accept, it was more of a first-come-first-serve scenario. In retrospect, I might have been less stretched and gotten a lot more out of the experience if I had been more discerning about who I say yes to. I'm glad the end is in sight. I really do not foresee myself doing this type of frenetic hosting in the near future. When I eventually do get a place of my own, I'd still host but most definitely at a more leisurely pace.
Onwards to Fiji! Where there are apparently thunderstorms and the risk of cyclones.
