Character hate
Hey guys I know there’s a lot of character hate going on in fandoms right now but I’m going to specifically focus of the Fairy Tail fandom. There’s a lot of character hate going on in the Fairy Tail fandom from what I can see but I have not experience it first hand nor do I want to because I can tell you right now that if I was, I would have exploded months ago because I cannot stand when people talk shit and crap about characters that I care so much about. But guys I have always believed there was at least one thing good in everything thing bad. So despite all this hate, I am REALLY happy to see people who defend and love Erza, Jellal, Lucy, Juvia, and Levy (these are the characters that receive the most hate when they’re not supposed to as much as I know) as much as I do. In times like these, we can tell who really and truly cares about a character. It is in our power to choose who we associate or be around with so don’t let others bring you down because you aren’t the only one. I think the reason so many of us love a character so much is because we can RELATE to them in some way but sadly this also applies the other way around. We either see ourselves in the characters and understand or see our weaknesses and dislike. When we dislike a character we pick out every little thing be it a weakness or even strong point??? It is ALWAYS okay to like or dislike a character for whatever reason but it is NEVER okay to bring someone down because they like or dislike a character. We all have our own opinions and we have different things we stand for. As for myself, I can tolerate a lot of things but I won’t tolerate character hate and in fact hate in general. If you have nothing nice to say then don’t say it!! Sorry this is a long rant but I felt like I had to say it.
