For daring to call him his friend and then leaving him behind.

For looking at him with those mistrustful eyes.

They wanted to treat him like an enemy. Fine. He'd become one.

Kyou was lying silently on a warm stone wall, simply taking in the warmth of the sunlight above him and the heated stones against his belly, eyes closed, quietly imagining that he was the warmth instead of someone holding him in their lap. Wondering what it would feel like to have someone gently stroke a hand over his orange fur or hold him in their arms...What a wonderful dream it was too, giving him a mere moment of comfort that, in the cold reality of his life, he would probably never have. 

The cat was currently so wrapped up in that soft dream that he failed to hear someone approaching, soft purrs leaving him, claws kneading softly against the imaginary cloth of someone’s pants, tail curled around his body as he simply continued to dream about what it would feel like to be loved, even just for a day.

Russell is just gonna slowly walk over towards the other and open his arms up for the other to hug him if he so wished. "I'm not sure what is going on, but if you need a hug, know I am here for you." He replied in all honesty hoping to help the other in anyway he can.

Tear filled golds look to the other with caution for a moment, waiting for some form of mockery but instead he watches the younger boy’s arms open and he hears the calming tone to his voice. He really wanted that hug. He seemed genuine enough. Gold glance around the area for a moment seeing that no one else was around and hesitantly for a moment, Edward crosses the space between them - closing the gap before allowing the other to wrap him in his arms as the older teen cries on his chest. He doesn’t explain himself but just cries in silence.... he just... 

He just misses his mom.
