There are not many issues that you cannot resolve with a sharp shovel. I replaced the small hand axe with my new shovel. I had been using an old Soviet style e-tool until it rusted out. Spent a few hours putting a proper edge on this one and added a few things inside the handle to balance it out. Throws real nice now ;-) Inside is a knife, ferro rod, sharpener, some keel at line, fire starting kit, bug spray and a water filter.
