Joker was holding his arm in pain as he looked at the Shadow in front of him. “You okay, Queen?” He inquired. It was a dumb question because something was obviously off. She had called for her Persona, but nothing had come forward.
“Don’t worry, Joker, I’ve got you covered!” Mona cast a healing spell on the wild card, allowing him to recover from the attack he had intercepted.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” It was a simple question as Ren’s red eyes met hers. “You only give me that look when something is wrong. Did something happen?” He set his phone down. Was...did she have suspicions about what he had done? The fact that he never had returned home despite his probation ending well over six months ago might’ve been a hint that there was something at play here.

“I hate that the others don’t trust you.” Ren muttered, hanging his head slightly. “They think you’re going to fall back into your old ways. Why can’t they see what I see?” He looked up at Makoto, grey eyes full of sadness.

“How can you be so callous about this? Doesn’t it bother you? These aren’t Shadows or cognitions, but real people.” Ren stated. “Murder isn’t going to solve anything. All you’re doing is making things worse and perpetuating the cycle of violence. Death begets death. Is it really justice...when everyone is dead?”

Anyways, more relationship headcanons. This time for @ferrumxvindictam!:
Ren and Makoto getting together was not in Yaldabaoth’s plans and it completely took the Demiurge by surprise. He had worked so hard to pit them against each other, their opposing ideologies were supposed make them incompatible.
Ren is very tight lipped about Makoto being the cause of the mental shutdown cases around Sae, for both sisters’ sake. Sae would more than likely be heartbroken to have turn her sister in, and Makoto knows that she can’t repent the way she wants if she’s in juvenile hall.
It definitely takes time, but the other Thieves eventually come to trust Makoto again after she goes out of her way to make amends with each of them personally, along with Ren’s constant endorsement that she’s changed.
The code name “Lotus” came about because of two things: One, Ren gave her a red lotus, something that represents love and compassion, which she begins to wear as an accessory along with her hair band. Fittingly enough, Ren is actually the Japanese word for “lotus”, which is associated with cleansing and purity.
While Makoto may not have Johanna as her Persona, eventually she and Ren get matching motorcycles that they do use to in the Metaverse when Morgana can’t make it for one reason or another.
Saying goodbye when Ren leaves to go home is even more painful than it is in the main canon, as Ren has helped Makoto not only open up, but calmed her mind, freeing her of her Personas constantly fighting for control. There are tears shared and shed between them as they say goodbye.
Returning to Tokyo for college, Ren finds his new apartment damaged in a fire and considers moving back to Leblanc before Makoto offers to let him stay with her and Sae.

General Appearance: He takes after his father in looks, but has Makoto’s hair and eye color
Personality: A very smart, charismatic and kind boy with a strong sense of justice and rebellion. Ren made sure that he wasn’t sheltered and had friends.
Special Talents: Being the son of two Metaverse users, Masahiro was born with a Persona looming in his heart, waiting for the day it could be released.

While Makoto likes to think it's her, Ren can take control very easily. It tends to be a bit of a clash between them in the bedroom, which actually works wonders for them, as they're always trying to outdo each other to make the other submit.

Ren. Not that Makoto can't be affectionate, but her past makes it more difficult to initiate intimacy.
What’s their favorite non-sexual activity:
They tend to do a lot of things together. They read, watch things. Much like the main timeline, Ren does everything he can to help her understand people her age better. He also tries to get her in on his thrill seeking. He'll take her to clubs or street races and he'll drag with him to explore abandoned places. Also, I can see Makoto really getting into boxing and mixed martial arts.

It varies, because Makoto isn't afraid of them.
