to say he was scared would be an understatement,    if not for the dark cave he’d found himself within,    but at the larger serpentine like man the young boy had come face to face with    ( kuro hadn’t been expecting this to be occupied,    all he was looking for was some shelter for the night. )    ...    frozen in place for a few seconds,    the boy’s smaller body scurries backwards as face pales,    instantly trying to get as far away as possible.

“ i - i’m sorry,    i didn’t think anyone else would be in here!    please,    don’t hurt me! ”    hands came up to cover his face,    pulse running fast from within tired body.    oh he was so screwed,    all because of a stupid mistake!

"i always seem to find you here, akito," shigure remarks callously, coming up to her side with a smile that was oh so fake.. yet it does hold a bit of something for HER alone. "i thought you would be resting already." he takes a seat next to her, legs crossing as he overlooks the quiet scenery. "is there something you wanted to discuss? i apologize for not coming any earlier when you had called." was he really sorry though? he wonders such things himself when anything had involved akito. Why did he always do this to her? Why did he always find it within him to leave her alone and treat her in such a cruel way? This game of back and forth with him was often times draining and she found herself unsure of what to do with him, but she always found herself coming back to him no matter what. Scowl rather prominent on her lips, she pulled her legs away from him and kept her gaze firm on the sky.

Part of her wanted to ignore him, but she always found herself doing the opposite of what she wanted. Shigure had a hold on her and she could do nothing about it.  All she could do was be angry and lash out in the way everyone knew. She crawled over to where he now sat as she grabbed him by his kimono, pulling him closer to her.

“Why...? Why do you play around with me? Do you not care? Do you think me a fool?”

🐍— Oh, she had seemed to touch a nerve with their current conversation, her continued prodding to what made him tick. She didn’t do it out of malice, instead she found him to be such a curiosity. A valiant hero turned vicious monster, he could be seen as the other half of the innocent maiden turned monster. Still, while the Berserker allowed himself to be ruled by the desire for war. While, she allowed herself to remain level headed, though she too desired destruction.

So, as his he began to snarl and growl at her. She knew just what to do, to calm the savage beast before her. Golden scaled digits grabbed his robe firmly, while she used just a bit of her monstrous strength to control the situation. Pulling the Berserker in, so soft lips could silence his protest of her not understanding. No, she understood quite well on such topics. But, any further discussion on this topic would only ruin such a moment now. So, instead she let her lips linger for a moment before pulling back. Watching, as murderous hues softened to those of a flustered boy.

❝Very well, dear hound. Though, I have to admit you’re quite adorable in such a state.❞ She commented, quite the smirk painted on those soft lips of her. If she hadn’t known any better, she might think the Alter was flustered by what had just transpired.

For being the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, it clearly doesn’t align with his concept of anything else, never mind his whimsical courtesy. He couldn’t even meet him at the assigned location he told him to be at on time. His annoyance didn’t last long though, at least about his mentor’s being late. He still didn’t like his dumb goofy grin.

“So, what are we here for? Doesn’t seem to be any curses around here.”

Strictly speaking, regardless of whether it was literal or figurative, he would be fine...barring some potential temporary discomfort. So, that being said, it also went without saying that those words are very easily enticing, as evident by the sweep of harsh blush overtaking his features.

“Ah--? O-Oh...that’s...very flattering of you to say...” He mumbles shyly, rubs the back of his neck. “I...can’t think of many who’d turn you down, either...” He admits, because well -- seriously, does he really need to spell out how gorgeous she is? Being hit on by somebody like that is practically a miracle in and of itself. Especially, he feels, for somebody like him.

“I mean I...definitely wouldn’t.”

He supposes that question must be due to his blood color. For someone who didn’t know, they might assume it was paint, maybe? But he has very little energy for lying or making explanations up at the moment.

“...I guess it depends on who you ask.”

After all, could it not be said that his previous foolishness drew the demon responsible for this ordeal to him...? A lot of times, he does blame himself, even if he knows it’s probably not very constructive.
