Praying Fervently
There are Christians who have attended church faithfully their entire lives, yet they still fail to understand the true power of prayer. They approach the act of prayer as something expected of them, taking for granted the fact that they have unlimited access to speak to the King of the Universe directly, as if it was no big deal. Prayer allows you to confide your innermost thoughts, feelings, dreams, and fears to the only One who can actually do something about them. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” To pray fervently means to pray with energy and intensity. The kind of passionate prayer God is talking about enables us to ask for Holy Spirit's power to do extraordinary things and overcome any obstacle, no matter how big or small. Jesus told us in Matthew 17:20, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” The power of prayer is available to everyone who believes. Elijah, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Queen Esther, and so many others were all mere humans, yet when they prayed, miraculous things happened! God has promised in Matthew 21:22, “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Put God to the test - pray intensely, passionately, fervently, with faith, believing, and just watch what God will do!
Colossians 4:2 KJV - Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; 1 Chronicles 16:11 KJV - Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. Romans 12:12 KJV - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Good Morning!☀️
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours and he prayed fervently that it might not rain and for three years and six months there was no rain in the land. Then he prayed and heaven gave rain and the earth bore its fruit. James 5:17,18
God is more willing to answer our prayers than we are to pray. He is not concerned with how well we speak or how much we say. What is important is that when we pray we pray with faith, believing that God both hears us and will answer us.
We could probably benefit from listening to children pray. Children tend to be very frank and to the point in their prayers. Just as God responded to Elijah's praying he will respond to ours!

WE READ OF JESUS healing a boy with an unclean spirit in Mark 9:14-29. This story provides a valuable lesson regarding faith. Previously, the boy’s father brought him to the disciples and they were unable to cast the spirit from the boy. Matthew Henry writes, “The father thought the fault lay in the want of power in the disciples.”(1) But it was due to lack of faith. The father became adamant…
