Quick design sheet for Feryn Smith, Aziza Hawaa al-Tahan and Yuko. Just gonna stick them here whilst I slowly work on the RQG 182 portraits. The designs will certainly need tweaking, I have no ideas for clothes yet.

Feryn yawned, carding a hand through his hair as he slumped against the window frame. The shutters were open, slightly creaking in the breeze. He pulled the blanket tighter around his shoulders, shivering against the chill autumn morning.

“Here.”

He gave Jackie a small smile, taking the mug of tea she offered him. He took a small sip, his eyes drooping again.

Jackie let out a small sound of sympathy. “I know you got back late, you don’t have to be up this early.”

The elfkin straightened, sending his partner a panicked look. “I-It’s tradition! You can’t mean—“

“I’m not saying this isn’t a big deal, I really enjoy watching the sunrise with you on the holidays. We don’t have enough time to properly celebrate, so this means a lot to me, but you’ve been traveling for the last two weeks, and I know you didn’t get enough sleep last night. You’re practically falling asleep just standing there, Feryn.” Jackie set her mug down, cradling Feryn’s face in her hands. “Taking care of yourself comes before any silly tradition, okay?”

Feryn let his eyes close, leaning into the touch. “I could just… stay here for now and go to bed later. I get today off anyway. And you have to go in, so I’ll just go to bed after you leave. I haven’t seen you in a while. I’ve missed being home.”

Jackie gave her partner a quick kiss. “I’ve missed you, too.” She picked her tea back up, taking a sip before sighing. “So you're going back to bed after I leave?”

The elfkin nodded, picking up his mug and readjusting the blanket around his shoulders. “Now let’s go sit on the steps and watch the sunrise before you have to go.”
