festa 2019: opening ceremony
this yellow chaos
These are so funny fjfjkglhlh i love them
Okay but... why does this look like a group photo of some Criminal Minds AU! With Unit Chief and Senior Supervisory Special Agent, Min Yoongi after introducing his squad consisting of:
Kim Taehyung: Communications liaison and current Supervisory Special Agent
Code name: V
Specializes in negotiating during hostage situations.
Has hyperthymesia (able to remember an abnormally large number of life experiences in vivid detail as well as all the people he meets and sees by simply looking at their faces, physical characteristics/birthmarks, tattoos, ect)
Can read people as well as he can read his soulmate (Jimin).
Immense knowledge in brands, which helps him pinpoint when and where the targets or victims were before, during and after the crimes were committed.
Has a soft spot for kids and hopes to be a dad someday.
Dr. Kim Namjoon: Senior Supervisory Special Agent and Linguistics Expert.
Code name: RM
He’s literally The Brain of the group which is why Yoongi lets him lead the field operations.
Quick witted, sharp tongued and not afraid to be a smart-ass to you if you act like a dick.
Like Taehyung he also specialize in negotiations involving hostages, especially if said negotiations occur with a non-native-Korean speaker.
Keeps loosing his ID or car keys around the office at-least twice a month (Taehyung or Seokjin are usually the ones who find them for him).
Kim Seokjin: Senior Supervisory Special Agent a.k.a. “Mr. Worldwide Handsome”
The oldest members of the groups. Seokjin has the money, has the looks, knows how to get around and mingle with the crowd.
Can get anyone and I mean ANYONE to trust him simply by smiling (or winking).
Can and will successfully talk himself out of any situation.
He got THE connections, m’kay?
Tells dad jokes to lighten the mood before or after difficult missions.
Keeps Namjoon grounded when he gets frustrated with difficult or failed missions.
Jeon Jungkook: Supervisory Special Agent a.k.a. “Muscle Bunny”.
The youngest member, Kook is the muscle of the group who has trained in numerous types of martial arts.
Competitive AF.
Talented as hell, he’s also known as “The Golden Boy” of the unit.
Gets in trouble for running off on his own during dangerous missions and for playing Overwatch on his laptop instead of finishing his paperwork.
Likes to annoy Jimin over the phone by answering “Thanks, Babe.” instead of “Hyung”.
Park Jimin: Technical analyst and Communications liaison along with soulmate, Taehyung.
Code name: Chimchim
Hacker extraordinaire - If you’re hiding, he will find you. That email you thought you deleted? He has it. That not so legal transaction you made 10 years ago and thought no one knew about? He has the receipts and the video to fuck you over with.
He’s the reason why Jungkook had to put up 200 firewalls on EACH of his computers.
Like Seokjin, Jimin is heavily aware that if needed be he will not hesitate to use his looks to get what he wants.
Loves his members dearly and constantly worries about them when they go out during field missions.
But will not hesitate to hunt down and put a bullet through anyone who dares to hurt any of them (especially Taehyung).
Jung Hoseok: Supervisory Special Agent a.k.a. “JAY-Hope”.
Former member of the bomb-squad.
Weapons expert and the best sharp-shooter in the whole department.
May not be as strong as Jungkook, but he’s lighter on his feet.
Cautious and calculative, but also loud and cheerful.
Is closest to Namjoon & Yoongi.
Has a soft spot for the 95z and feels protective of them.
Has pretty much adopted Jungkook as his little brother.
Is the only one who can make Yoongi smile or laugh (Jimin teases him about that).
Whenever he gets paired up with Seokjin they can either breakdown the biggest crime rings or share 1 bran cell.
🐰🐥FESTA 2019
I just realized something: in the FESTA interview Hobi says he is thinking about the future and Jk interrupts and asks if he is thinking of children's names... And they laugh it off but there is some significant eye contact between JK and JM
WELLLLL (!!!!!!!)
I present the lyrics to "FOOLS" Troye Sivan
"I see swimming pools and living rooms and aeroplanes
I see a little house on the hill and children's names
I see quiet nights poured over ice and Tanqueray
But everything is shattering and it's my mistake"
Spread the word plz my aching heart
Bangtan News, J-hope’s parts translation
You went to the Grammys, how was it?
Hoseok: honestly the Grammys is such a place we only dreamed of so when we arrived it felt numb. There was a question mark in my head and I thought “is this the Grammys, the place I imagined”. But we went in and as soon as I saw the stage that question mark changed into an exclamation point. Wow I really did come to the Grammys. The definitive moment when it really hit was when we presented an award. “Wow this is really the Grammys. I came to the Grammys.”
What (how) did you prepare for the Grammys?
Hoseok: in reality there was nothing I really prepared, hm but I prepared my mindset! As an award presenter I thought about the trophy we’re giving to the awardee, it’s weight* and how it was an award given with such honor. It is also an award given to a very famous artist I thought it’d made me really nervous. What did you think while watching other artist’s stages? I thought if I had the chance to stand at a Grammy stage next year or the year after I would love to do so. I think all the members probably thought the same. Since we all have such an ambition for stages/performance we probably all thought “ah I want to stand on that stage”
Was there a certain stage that left a deep impression on you?
Hoseok: hm..Dolly Parton *repeated her name rolling his tongue* I was impressed to the point where I thought it was fascinating that she did that stage with her experience.
For BTS what was the meaning of Grammys?
Hoseok: i always thought it was a wall we couldn’t go over. But honestly...instead of saying we crossed the wall it was more like hm we just stepped on it. I think we haven’t been able to go over it yet.
While preparing for this album what is something that really bothered you or something you paid extra special attention to?
Hoseok: this time I think I tried to wholly express exactly what jhope was feeling. Since there was a lot to say to the fans I think I tried to further involve(himself?) and write a lot. Even then hm..I think I worked hard to produce a lot, something that would show the existing bangtan charms and other different colors.
When recording what was a part that took a very long time to record?
Hoseok: Dionysus?! I think Dionysus took a very long time. There was a good opportunity for me to be involved in working on the melody for first half for the first time, that’s when I got a bit ambitious and greedy. I had the thought, ambition and pride that I really wanted to try this song and resolve it. It was a song I revised almost 20 times so I think that it took the longest.
While preparing for the comeback is there something that’s memorable?
Hoseok: hm... I think working was the most memorable. Producing this album was really hard, that’s the memory that remained. And also we borrowed and practiced at the place where we had our first concert, Melon AX-HALL(it’s the yes 24 live concert hall). It was a new feeling to practice at this place where we really held our dreams about having a concert and stepped towards it for the first time. I felt how much we’ve grown.
Please tell us something we absolutely shouldn’t miss in this album?
Hoseok: hm..in this album? (in agony) I think it’s just our sincerity towards the fans. There is a lot included about that and I hope you would feel and think about that. To us, I think the fact that we felt the fruits of producing has a big meaning.
A killing part in the title song?
Hoseok: a killing part in the title song? hmm..ah! Wouldn’t it be jimin’s part? I think Jimin’s intro part has a lot of charm.
*weight is used figuratively, he is not talking about the actual weight of the trophy.

Hi!! I don’t really understand how Festa works and I see everyone so excited and I’m a little confused? Could you explain how it works to me please??
Hey! Sure thing!! ☺️
So festa is pretty much a celebration that always occurs in the first 2 weeks of June as a commemoration Of the day bts debuted (13th June 2013)
What happens is that to celebrate their debut, every day leading up to the 13th, bts will release special content that they have prepared for us, specifically for festa.
This means that we get new photos, new songs, new videos, dance routines etcetera all within this time frame, as a celebration of bts as a group!
The new content gets released every day at 12am KST so check what time that is for you! At this time a link will be posted on the bts official twitter page that will redirect to either Facebook (photos), YouTube (videos) or soundcloud (sound files)
In the past we have had song covers/new songs such as Jungkook and Jimin’s version of ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ or Taehyung and Namjoons ‘4 o clock’.
For festa 2016, 2017 and 2018 they’ve also done small performances in Korea that have been streamed on vlive where they perform songs they don’t usually perform, play games, have competitions and perform some of the new content too! (This year they don’t seem to be doing this I think probably because they have the musters instead!) but it’s from these concerts where we got the amazing namjoon and Jin dance solos (festa 2016), the 3J dance performance (festa 2017) and the legendary ddaeng performance (festa 2018) amongst loads of other absolutely amazing things!
One of my personal favourite things is that yearly the boys will come together in a video to talk about their year, answer questions, send each other ‘anonymous’ messages and so forth in something called ‘honey fm’ or last year it was the bangtan dinner party! It’s always hilarious!!
So yeah, festa is basically bts spoiling us with even more fun content that gets released daily up until the official anniversary date!
Hopefully I explained this well enough but if you have any more questions, please message me again and I’ll try my best to answer them!! ☺️
Festa is really my favourite time of the year as a bts fan so I hope you enjoy it!!
Also if you want any links to any of the content from past festas let me know and I can redirect you to them so you can get a better idea of what goes on! If you search for any of it though, it will all be pretty easy to find on YouTube!
This is the schedule for festa this year:
