They really extended harvest an extra fucking day. Grinning so hardddddd 😈
So this was how one celebrated events overseas hmm? The sights, the smells, the sounds.. This whole town was decorated with bright, colorful squares of paper floating around in the air and it was unlike anything Yen’fay had seen back home! He held his hand out, catching a singular slip.
“It’s called Confetti”A woman sees Yen’fay’s confusion and smiles. “The children love it.” a smaller girl tosses out a handful of it as the woman speaks, only proving her point.
“I see.” He nods, watching the woman and the child walk off. For now the man would walk through the stalls, observing the other directions while trying to get his mind off of confetti. It seemed wasteful but oh how the kids seemed to be enjoying tossing it into the cool fall breeze. He couldn’t deny the young ones of their fun. So while he stepped on, he forced himself to question something else. Alright! The music. This was.. cheerful? Distant songs mixed together when he stood between to street corners. Wait no. This was just noisy. Never mind.
Moving on.
Maybe he could enjoy the food? What are these apples covered in? He is now stuck there, starring at them very intently. “How would one eat this..?” Yen’fay why are you poking the food? You have to pay for that-

Most of the music was dreary pretentious waffle, but then I met a lovely girl called Laura who shared her ecstasy with me & we danced until the sun came up :)
Musical highlights: Kate Tempest blew me away. PJ Harvey was breathtaking. I could dance to Jon Hopkins for hours (I did).
