I tried to think about the over all theme and art style that I wanted to try for the collateral and point out the things that I found interesting.

3D Pizza

I used illustrator’s 3D tools to make a pizza as well.

Illustrator 3D effects

I wanted to try out and experiment with the new 3D features on illustrator so I made a burger. I enjoyed trying out the new tools (extrude + bevel and inflate) and I really want to try and implement this technique into my event collateral. I used adobe illustrator to render the burger as well using the in program raytracing.

Brochure Ideation

For the brochure designs I wanted to include: a small map, contact info, a spread of the winners of the year and an interesting front page. I also wanted the brochure to include assets and themes from the posters so that the collateral would be more succinct and related. I would also use collage and illustration to achieve this.

Poster Ideation

These are the initial concepts I had for a poster design. I want to utilize illustration and collaging techniques for my outcomes. I will try out some of these designs using Illustrator.

The idea behind the “monsters” is to continue on the WOAP tradition of abstract and out of the box imagery. I also wanted to achieve that by mixing collage and illustration.
