Still not agree with Kurda
Remember it when Desmond Tiny says that the vampire clan had thrown away one big opportunity of destroying the Lord of Vampaneze by losing Kurds Smahlt? I think what he means by "losing" here is not simply "executing" as claimed by some other, but literally losing Kurda from the very beginning as no vampire had believed in his way things happen. I belive the execution, however, is the right thing to do with Kurda at that time. Because he is a traitor. Whatever the purpose that the future prince longs for, no matter whether it is for the sake of the clan or not, his inviting vampanze and introducing them the way to the Hall of Princes as well as letting them have the freedom to control the Stone of Blood - the only source to find all the other vampires' aura, are absolutely wrong. Like giving a hungry tiger one of your arms in order to prevent it from eating up every other parts of your body, Kurda's plan has variety of risks. Who can be sure that the tiger won't get hungry and attack you again, this time with even less effort because its meal now only has one arm to defend him/herself? Putting all the lives of vampires in the mountain under the mercy of the invaders who are their whole life enemies just to force them into a negotiation is never the solution. Glalda can be trusted, ok because he is Kurda's best friend (at least as claimed in the Darren Wiki), but how can he be sure about the others? Glalda's followers may have proved themselves trustworthy enough, and vampanezes don't lie, but what about outsider vampanzes? Remember that by the time Kurda's plan is settled, the legendary Lord of the Vampaneze had been chosen. Also, according to Destiny's vision, this mysterious Lord can call the shot and lead the vampaneze clan win over and eliminate the vampires. How come could they give up on such a powerful leader just to throw themselves into a mess created by a young, infamous and inexperienced vampire? How come could they ignore such a great opportunity? Once their hands are placed on the Stone of Blood, which means they have already got the fully power to control every single living vampires, what stop them from destroying the whole other clan? Vampanezes are loyalty creatures (you can say it by Gannen Harst's reaction towards Steve's moron rules) who always stay and fight for their pride. Their Lord and the sake of their clan is not something that can easily be put aside. If there is a chance to raise their kind up and bring it back to old glory, they will surely grabb it. Instead of getting involved in variety of diplomatic affairs and negotiations with their once enemy, they can always choose the simpler way. Kill them all. Avoid the war and unnecessary blood. Avoid pain and unexpected troubles. Nobody can blame them for that, because this action is on behalf of the whole clan, not just any particular individual, yet the vampires still have to take the consequence. I do belive that if Kurda's plan goes well, the future in which the vampanzes rule it all and no vampire can exist will be something that unavoidable. Executing him and kill the block of vampanzes is indeed the thing must be done.

Headcanon: being the young, hip Prince he is, Darren suggests this at an executive meeting. He is picked up and carried halfway to the Hall of Death by Mika and Arrow before Harkat intervenes to save his ass,
