7/28/17: with my whole house situation I've been feeling pretty low, I will likely return to the practice video challenge next week as my move has yet again been delayed by the people buying my house. So today, I decided would be a good day to look at a challenging piece that I like and just invest myself in it... music used to be a coping mechanism for me, and as a music major, it has become my daily life and I've had to find other things to cope when music becomes the thing that stresses me out, but today I find it beneficial to find solace in music

So last Saturday, my alumni band decided we should try Shostakovich’s “Festive Overture”.

Pretty much all of us were part of a train wreck.
