This fucking guy lol.
From what I can gather, all support chains in FE3H are meant to be canon - i.e. they coexist together. This is actually very cool because it conveys how each character - after completing every support, and thus forming strong bonds with a variety of people - ends up developing in multifaceted ways. (Felix, for instance, is an excellent example of this.)
But Linhardt?
This fucking guy, this sleepy boi. He meets a beautiful crest-bearing female and immediately he’s like. You know what? I’m about that. Let’s get married and have crest babies.
I just love the idea that this scenario is totally possible: he has that lovely, heartfelt moment with Lysithea in which he tells her that he cares about her and wants to be a family with her, only for her to find out the very next day that he said to Annette that he’d like her to wake him up every morning, only for them to find out the very next day that he proposed bearing children with Flayn, only for them to find out the very next day that he's sworn to dedicate his life to Marianne.
He's so sincere in each one of these, too. I love this fucking guy.
