How is Boop not evidence? It’s true that it’s extra material, something that isn’t in the show proper. But unless you have paperwork or a written statement or some video from some rooster teeth member (that actually gets to make decisions regarding rwby) saying that boop isn’t canon, then it is.

If you mean that the song itself does not explicitly state that it’s about Ren and Nora, then you’d be wrong.

Here are some lyrics of the song that I think are quite relevant.

1)“Hold Magnhild, I think I’m gonna faint”

I shouldn’t have to explain this first part. Magnhild is Nora’s weapon. Who the hell else would have the weapon in their possession.

2) “I just bite my tongue and when I want to say I love you I say, Boop.”

Well we know this is about Nora AND Ren now. Because the only person who has said “boop” is Nora. And who she said it to was Ren.

If you’re looking for evidence that is not Boop, then we’ve got this from Nora’s side. From a post of mine:

I can understand feeling fuzzy about Ren’s side of this, as he is quite quiet and subtle. But to quote myself again from this post:

Nora does it (with another use of “not together-together”) And after that, he changes the subject! (”Jaune, what is this all about?”). Why would he do that if he only had platonic feelings for Nora? If you don’t like renora as a ship, that’s fine. You don’t have to like it. 

But there is evidence. I just wasted 15 minutes typing it out for you. As far as having actual evidence, it is nothing like Blake/Yang. That is a horrible comparison.

Because it’s about framing and context.

Sun’s wink is accompanied by a slow-mo pan of his expression, followed by the camera focusing on Blake’s slack-jawed attention, along with a literal choir singing in the background while she stares at him. This is his introduction— to Blake, but more importantly, to the audience. This is the first moment we properly meet him, and it’s through this very particular gaze.

Yang’s wink is precipitated by her trying to convince Blake to come to the dance for her own mental and physical well-being. There’s no attention given to any other motivation on Yang’s part during the exchange, or what Blake’s reaction was following.

One of these has clear romantic intent. The other does not. If I were to present these two scenes to a random bystander and remove the names from the samples, and if I asked them to tell me which scene they thought was meant to be a romantic one, my guess is that they would go with the Sun and Blake scene. Because again, it’s about the framing of the scene, and the context of the situation the characters are in.

I say that Yang’s wink is dubious evidence at best, because I acknowledge that it can technically be read as romantic— but a.) it’s extremely covert, and only noticeable if you’re looking at it to find romantic evidence in the first place, and b.) I’m highly doubtful that was the writers’ intent in the first place.

I see nothing romantic in Blake and Yang’s relationship, the wink doesn’t change thatAs for the but yang was the one who helped blake in v2  Sun, well, there are things that he just can’t do. If anything I’d expect people to appreciate that he respects Blake’s boundaries. She said no, so he took it on the chin and walked off to not bother her againIf he kept going after Blake, the same people would be calling him a creep.

It's really quite funny how hard the Mad Cyborg has tried to get Genos to do its bidding

First, it tried luring him into the Neo Hero organization, with scouts promising many strong hidden-until-now heroes from whom he could learn and Blue himself telling Genos that there was a place for him if he ever changed his mind. You know that there'd have been a very special reception waiting for Genos.

Accidentally avoiding a very tempting trap -- maybe this guy does have some luck after all.

Then it tried deception, with Drive Knight telling him that Bofoi was the culprit behind the mad cyborg. But instead of going on a rampage, Genos takes a deep breath and goes to consult the people he trusts. Damn.

Okay, so it's just a matter of destroying his support network, then.

Then it tried the burning platform strategy, by having Dr Kuseno's lab attacked and the doctor killed. Surely, this would provoke Genos to just attack Bofoi already!

It did, but annoyingly, Genos listened to Bofoi... Damn this guy and his willingness to give others the benefit of the doubt!

This is why the Mad Cyborg must hate humans -- look how easily one is persuaded to consider additional factors.

It tried being the voice in his head and ordering him to kill Bofoi. No dice -- the dude just shouted back.

People are supposed to do anything if they can hear voices in their head. Nobody said anything about them talking back!

And now, it's gone for direct action. It can't get Genos to do things, but it can pull his body to it. And maybe, it can taunt and trick him into taking some action that finally gets him doing what it wants.

Surely this HAS to be an irresistible call to action, no?

Much as I am waiting with bated breath for Saitama to come through, I'm really rooting for Genos to wrong foot the Mad Cyborg one more time. It's definitely a terrifyingly clever and dangerous adversary but it is nowhere near as clever or as knowing as it makes itself out to be. And it's not in control.

You're brilliant. Your insights make something really clear. ONE is a stickler for information flow: Who Knows What When Why and How is something he sticks to like a police procedural. It's what makes OPM feel grounded despite being set in a fantastical world.

The Organization has been hunting down 'errors' in the human world to either eliminate or control, and yet, the greatest error of all, Saitama, is not even on their radar until that morning, even though he's destroyed at least one Machine God -- and both Genos and the Dr. Kuseno we know knew how extraordinary he is. The timing of the awareness of Saitama just happens to be the morning after Dr. Kuseno's lab was raided and the information he measured from Saitama was available to be found. That really strikes against the Dr Kuseno we know being an android copy of the Mad Cyborg -- it would have at least known that Saitama was an error, even if it didn't yet have hard data about how erroneous Saitama was. And, as you say, it would have also known that Saitama was hugely influential on Genos and would have had a lever to use.

It *should* have known weeks ago about Saitama's influence if nothing else. And yet it didn't.

The Mad Cyborg has said nothing about Genos's memories -- it just says it doesn't know and frames it as due to the information not having been sufficiently important to keep. The individual calling Genos's memories fake is Dr. Bofoi. Whether Bofoi is telling the truth as he understands it or is gaslighting Genos we don't yet know.

When it comes to issues of control, the Mad Cyborg is in the walls. It does not matter whether you believe that Dr. Kuseno is the Mad Cyborg (as it claims) or you think like I do that Dr Kuseno created and lost control of the AI calling itself the Mad Cyborg, it is deeply embedded in the works done by Drs. Bofoi and Kuseno. Everything they do is compromised. You'll notice too that it has no problem sabotaging Bofoi. It's been able to steal Drive Knight from him and reprogram it, even breaking the 'ethical lock' Bofoi was so sure of, and it's had no trouble blocking Bofoi's comms so his defense network was unresponsive junk. It can yoink Genos to itself...of course it can, it's embedded in the software.

What it doesn't have is control of the people. It can steal Bofoi's shit but it can't get Bofoi to do anything in particular. It can bring Genos to itself but it can't make Genos do anything, hence the show it's putting on for him. And now that I think of it, had Dr Kuseno been an android, it wouldn't have had to work so hard to try getting Genos to do its bidding: a robot would have funnelled Genos into its arms easier than taking candy from a baby. Instead what did the old long-nose do? Let Genos decide for himself.

NOTE: This is not a post to get you to “Like” Eustass kid. You do NOT have to like him and still agree with what your about to read, if your not bias. Do NOT engage if you don’t plan to read full

Eustass Kid discourse honestly exposes a massive mindset problem within parts of the One Piece fandom because people not only claim to respect, but they flat out praise ambition, conqueror mentality, and “betting it all” until the character doing it is not their favorite and the gamble fails. Then suddenly the exact same qualities they praise in other characters become “stupid,” “arrogant,” “cocky,” or “braindead.” That is why Kid gets treated so differently despite embodying one of the core themes of the series.

One Piece constantly pushes the idea that the people who shake the world are the ones willing to challenge impossible odds, force their way forward, and risk everything for their dreams. Luffy does this constantly. Roger did it. Whitebeard did it. Blackbeard does it. The difference is that when those characters succeed or are framed more favorably, fans romanticize the behavior afterward and call it determination or greatness.

Kid does the exact same thing and people suddenly switch frameworks entirely. They stop evaluating him through the lens the story itself uses and instead evaluate him like he is supposed to be some perfectly rational, risk-averse strategist whose job is to minimize losses at all times.

And the funniest part is that if Kid actually backed down from Shanks, surrendered his poneglyphs, avoided conflict, or “played it safe,” the exact same people clowning him now would call him a coward, fraud, or fake rival. He is put into a lose-lose situation by fandom bias where ambition is only respected if it succeeds immediately or comes from a beloved character.

A lot of the slander also relies on stripping context away from scenes entirely and replacing actual reading with recycled agenda talking points. People repeat things they heard from TikToks, YouTubers, memes, anime filler, or community jokes without even realizing half the information they are using is incomplete, exaggerated, or outright false. The “commoners haki” joke is a perfect example. A huge portion of the fandom unironically used a non-canon filler scene, stripped context of it, then made it proof that Kid’s conqueror haki was weak despite the manga never even showing him consciously using it onscreen.

The same thing happens with the Shanks fight. People flatten the entire situation into “Kid stupidly attacked Shanks” while ignoring the actual context of the One Piece race, the Road Poneglyph stakes, the inevitability of Emperor conflict, the nature of Kid’s mentality, the fact he followed his log pose there, and the abnormal mechanics behind Shanks’ abilities. They look at the outcome first and then work backwards to force the narrative that the decision itself was inherently idiotic. Just purely hindsight bias.

A lot of fans do not actually respect ambition itself. They respect rewarded ambition. They respect plot-protected ambition. They respect ambition when it comes from characters they already emotionally like. But when a character like Kid crashes into the reality of the pirate world without protagonist framing protecting him, suddenly people treat him like an idiot instead of recognizing that he is one of the rawest examples of what chasing the One Piece would realistically look like.

Myveryshelf • 12d ago I would advice against taking anything the fandom says about kidd as "unironic". This is a community where slander is well-valued, and slander by definition is mostly lies. Like, this is a fictional story, so it is not the worst thing if people have fun using its characters for their own mind games.

You say he is not disliked because of his actions, but because people already disliked him and he happened to fail, he is treated unfairly.

Saying people hate on him because he is disliked is fair, but kind of circular. Then we would have to ask why he is so disliked. We have only seen what Oda wanted to showed us of him, and you say characters with similar traits are generally liked.

So then he is unfairly disliked because he happened to fail, but the fact that he took risks means he is not the bum people claim he is. But, like, there are other characters in the story that lose and are respected for trying.

Having that ambition is a choice, a selfish choice even if it is one that requires bravery. I'd say people respect the tennacity to hold on and the capacity to carry out that ambition even more than the ambition itself. Generally, people who "talk a big game", give it a good attempt and fail by no fault of their own are still respected; but people who are absorbed by their ambition and fail because of their own actions are disrespected, moreso if they get other people harmed.

People dislike Kidd more than others because:

A) He lost in a very spectacular fashion after receiving an oversized bounty, so it is funny to dog on him. At this point, I'd say Kidd slander is the intended way to interact with the story, the way discussing endlessly wether Shanks or Mihawk is stronger is the intended way to interact with their story.

B) Even if he was fucked by fate the moment he entered Shanks's island, people still consider his failure to be a result of his bad decision-making. He risked it all on Shanks not being in the area or able to reach him afterwards, he focused his ulti on killing hundreds of fodder head on, and he had already fought this enemy (he should know better). He took more risks than necessary for his situation, then failed because of his choices and took down his crew with him. I'd say it is fair to dislike that

I’m saying because people already dislike him, they become far more willing to engage in disingenuous discourse around him, strip context away, exaggerate his flaws, and interpret every situation in the least charitable way possible. That is a very different point.

And yes, obviously slander culture exists in One Piece. I’m not denying that. The issue is that with Kid specifically, a lot of the fandom stopped separating jokes from actual analysis a long time ago. That is why you genuinely have people using filler scenes, meme rhetoric, and oversimplified summaries as actual arguments. The discourse around him became so dominated by agendas that many people barely engage with the actual text anymore.

regarding your point about people respecting characters who fail honorably, I actually agree to an extent. I think the more interesting question is what exactly makes Kid’s failure “dishonorable” to people in the first place.

Is it because he got one shot? Because if that’s the case then that’s outcome bias more than actual analysis. One Piece has never treated losing to monsters at the top of the world as inherently shameful. Luffy got obliterated by Kaido multiple times. Kid himself already lost to Kaido before. Characters constantly crash into walls stronger than themselves in this series because that is literally how the pirate world works. The only difference is that Kid’s loss was framed more brutally and lacked protagonist cushioning.

Or is it because of his ruthlessness and aggression? Because if that’s the angle, there’s still context there too. Kid is not written as a morally pure adventurer like Luffy. He comes from an extremely violent environment, (granted luffy does too but he has a role model) but operates like an actual pirate, and openly embraces force and intimidation. EVEN THEN he’s more cushy then others who had harsh environments, anyways One Piece has never portrayed ambition at the highest level as clean regardless.

Reckless? Sure, but needed. The Violent? Absolutely. But dishonorable? I don’t really see it.

He stood on his ambition, refused to surrender his progress & kill his dream without trying, challenged a Yonko head on, and lost to experience and unfavorable conditions. It’s not really dishonorable to me. if Kid had run, surrendered his poneglyphs, or avoided confrontation entirely, those same people would immediately call him a coward, fake rival, or fraud anyway. So what standard is actually being applied here? That’s the part I think people don’t fully interrogate.

on point B specifically, I think this is where a lot of the misunderstanding comes from. You are still evaluating Kid primarily through hindsight and outcome rather than through the logic of the One Piece world itself. Rayleigh states that you get stronger in intense pressure. It took luffy getting absolutely clobbered to learn aconq. Kid himself cannot grow unless he faces the wall that is shanks. He cannot go around it, and he had no reason to go around it. The “he focused his attack on fodder” point is also a bit misleading because the attack was directed at Shanks’ fleet as a means of forcing the confrontation and drawing shanks out whom he thought was hiding amongst the fleet. It was destructive, yes, but it was not some random tantrum disconnected from combat strategy. And once Shanks intervened personally, the encounter immediately shifted into something Kid had no real frame of reference for due to the abnormal nature of Shanks’ abilities.

And finally, the “he took his crew down with him” criticism is fair emotionally, but it also reflects a broader truth about One Piece pirates that people selectively ignore depending on the character. Ambition in this series is contagious. Crews willingly follow captains into impossible situations all the time because that is what piracy at the highest level actually entails. The Straw Hats followed Luffy into Enies Lobby, Marineford fallout, Whole Cake, Wano, and countless situations that realistically should have destroyed them. When you have a crew that respects kid that much you gotta acknowledge his leadership, regardless of where they end up, they all knew the price.

So yes it’s fair to dislike him, But a lot of the discourse around him goes beyond that and turns into flattening every aspect of his character into “stupid arrogant bum,” which is where the analysis starts becoming shallow rather than critical. That why I specifically said this post wasn’t to make you like him, I’m simply pointing out the facts

Making predictions of the webcomic is a fool’s game, but I was rereading the audio CD that keeps giving and this except struck me anew:

Saitama: It had been a while since I last watched an action movie but… was better than expected, right?

Genos: Yes. The way they fought against an organisation that disappears into thin air, the decisions taken when they got the hostage situation… Even being fiction it was good learning material.

Saitama: I didn’t have high expectations cause you got the tickets for free from the association but, was satisfying eh?

Genos: Yes. I liked it all but the protagonist announcing clearly a defined objective from the get go.

Saitama: Oh? That happened?

Genos: It’s about the way the protagonist judgement worked in the movie. Even if he had to go somewhere else, in that situation he should have quickly evacuated his family, friends and the heroine. That would have been the best decision. The way he did it, anyone would see what was his objective.

Saitama: Ah, ummm. Well yeah but in that occasion it couldn’t be helped.

Genos: If he had done it that way even in the situation of the movie, it could have been dealt with in about 20 minutes.

Saitama: It wouldn’t make sense then, right?

Genos: Why is that?

Saitama: Well… It’s a movie. In any case, precisely because he had someone to protect the protagonist didn’t give up and tried harder until the end, right? That’s where the excitement is after all.

Genos: I see… but, if he was in real trouble the enemy could have seen that objecti-

Saitama: That’s the point of the story! It happens in real life too right?

Genos: I see… I’m writing it down! This means… Sensei had this kind of incident in the past, right?

Saitama: Eh?

Genos: Fighting for something that you must protect.

Saitama: ahhh…. um.

Genos: What is the matter?

Saitama: Ah? Ah, nothing.

The situation that Genos was so taken by, a hero desperately trying to keep his family safe while dealing with a shadowy organisation that just disappears at will, sounds like his worst nightmare.  And in the webcomic, it will be a nightmare made real if Kuseno isn’t dead.

Saitama’s airy comment might also turn out to be key: that discovering hitherto untapped reserves of strength and persistence to protect who and what he cares about is the only way out.

The stakes couldn’t be higher for Genos: being left bereft in a cruel world, being killed, dying of despair, going mad, turning into a monster, or worst of all, becoming a disposable puppet of a cruel organisation are all real possibilities.

I really don’t want to see Saitama solve this; he should sit back and just provide support and inspiration.  Genos is fighting for everything that’s worth fighting for and I’d really like to see him succeed or fail on his terms.

Coming back to this after a couple of days, I suppose what I really really want is for Genos to finally give the lie to these cruel words of Sonic’s.

With his own strength.

If one’s adoptive family isn’t worth protecting what is?  If your identity isn’t worth protecting, what is?  If the evil cyborgs who process people like tools aren’t worth defeating, what is?

Genesis Rhapsodos could be a half-Cetra (theory)

This one is just a side work from my main theory series. (but it’s a bit too crazy to be true, honestly).  So let’s start with a short summary about what we know of Genesis from FFVII Compilation (not just Crisis Core, because we have Dirge of Cerberus as well): - Genesis Rhapsodos is born in the same years to Angeal Hewley and Sephiroth as projects that used Jenova’s cells to create super SOLDIERs (with Angeal and Genesis are in project G and Sephiroth in project S).  - Unlike Angeal and Sephiroth, Genesis’ biological parents were never revealed.  - Also unlike Angeal and Sephiroth, Genesis’s color theme is red, not white or black.  - Genesis gets degradation, which is weird because Angeal don’t get this problem while both of them are from the same project. - Amongst the three 1st Class SOLDIERs (and the rest of the SOLDIERs), Genesis is the only one who uses a lot of magic in battle, mostly fire, but he is also seen using Summon materia.  - Genesis has a healthy obsession with plants (mainly apple trees). - While citing LOVELESS, Genesis also carries with himself the knowledge of the Cetra.  - Even when it is not directly shown, Genesis seems to be able to connect to the Planet (whether through the plants or through direct communication when he enters the mine under Banora, it’s unclear). However, we can see him communicating with the Planet as when he activates the Goddess Materia in the Banora mine by reading one quote from LOVELESS. 

- Although not directly appearing in DoC, Genesis plays a huge role in the background: He openly refuses to help the Tsviets with their rebel out of Deepground and goes to hibernate in the cavern below, however, he still tries to help them through “Usher” and Player Tsviet (I know Usher is just a projection image created by Shelke but the amount of information he knows surpassed Shelke’s knowledge and besides, if that is actually Shelke who is in full charge of Usher, then the Tsviet didn’t need to ask for Genesis’s help in the first place), also giving them the mission to look for the Protomateria therefore scheming the whole Chaos/Omega thing to destroy Omega so the Lifestream of Gaia won’t go back to the Greater Lifestream (hence why you get him wakes up and tells Weiss that they still have a lot to do). Okay, that’s all the available information from the compilation. Now let’s go on with my theory. The fact that Genesis’ biological parents are not revealed is weird detail (whether SE just forgot to add that information or that they want to keep it a secret for later use is unknown), however we know that Genesis was adopted into a wealthy family in Banora with his adoptive parents being the mayor of the town. Losing biological parents and then get adopted seem to be a family trend *cough* Aerith *cough*.  Also, in comparison to Aerith, who loves plants and can communicate with the Planet through plants, Genesis also loves plants. He loves the apple trees and the fruits so much that he creates the apple juice that no one has ever done before and gets an award for it. 

As for the strange degeneration, if he is the same to Angeal because they are from one project then why Genesis has the degeneration and Angeal doesn’t. If we roll back to the scene where Sephiroth, Angeal and Genesis fought each other in the training room, we can point out the starting point of the degeneration is when Genesis got hurt by Angeal’s broken blade. Considering this detail, we can compare it to a real life genetic disorder that won’t be known unless the person who has it got hurt (or if they get tested) - Haemophilia. The similarity between genetic disorder and the degeneration can be seen when both are unknown till the person get hurt, and when the wound is too severe, the person may not be able to recover. Therefore, it can be pointed out that Genesis has something different from Angeal in his own gene. That leads us to another subject: why did I suggest that Genesis could have Cetra’s gene? Remember that Jenova created something similar to geostigma to kill off the Cetra and those who got that disease tends to die early (Ifalna’s case)? Now look back at Genesis, when the degeneration triggers, he soon falls weaker and weaker overtime, eventually he will die if he didn’t get cured by the Lifestream. So this kind of genetic thing seems to be similar to what happened to the Cetra if they got some Jenova’s genetic material into their body.  One other thing to talk about here is Genesis’s theme color - red, the rarest color amongst the character design in FFVII compilation. We only have a small number of characters with red as main color theme: Aerith, Vincent, Red XIII (Nanaki), Reno, Rosso and Genesis. Also in the Remake Cetra also be shown to wear red and white color, so just take those who wears red instead of those who has red hair. But with red hair and wearing red clothes, well, you guest.  With all of the above, I want to say that maybe, just maybe, Genesis is a half-Cetra.  Thank you all for reading.

It's really quite funny how hard the Mad Cyborg has tried to get Genos to do its bidding

First, it tried luring him into the Neo Hero organization, with scouts promising many strong hidden-until-now heroes from whom he could learn and Blue himself telling Genos that there was a place for him if he ever changed his mind. You know that there'd have been a very special reception waiting for Genos.

Accidentally avoiding a very tempting trap -- maybe this guy does have some luck after all.

Then it tried deception, with Drive Knight telling him that Bofoi was the culprit behind the mad cyborg. But instead of going on a rampage, Genos takes a deep breath and goes to consult the people he trusts. Damn.

Okay, so it's just a matter of destroying his support network, then.

Then it tried the burning platform strategy, by having Dr Kuseno's lab attacked and the doctor killed. Surely, this would provoke Genos to just attack Bofoi already!

It did, but annoyingly, Genos listened to Bofoi... Damn this guy and his willingness to give others the benefit of the doubt!

This is why the Mad Cyborg must hate humans -- look how easily one is persuaded to consider additional factors.

It tried being the voice in his head and ordering him to kill Bofoi. No dice -- the dude just shouted back.

People are supposed to do anything if they can hear voices in their head. Nobody said anything about them talking back!

And now, it's gone for direct action. It can't get Genos to do things, but it can pull his body to it. And maybe, it can taunt and trick him into taking some action that finally gets him doing what it wants.

Surely this HAS to be an irresistible call to action, no?

Much as I am waiting with bated breath for Saitama to come through, I'm really rooting for Genos to wrong foot the Mad Cyborg one more time. It's definitely a terrifyingly clever and dangerous adversary but it is nowhere near as clever or as knowing as it makes itself out to be. And it's not in control.

Guys, what are the chances of Sonic 4 bringing robotization?

Sonic CD will definitely be an inspiration and there's the fact that animals are trapped in robots and used as "batteries" (for lack of a better term). But can they adapt it like the infamous robotization? I believe Robotinik survived, and if he ended up on Little Planet, he would definitely pull a card like that and that would be some nightmare fuel. Or even Stone.

I kind of need to see this now.

I like your theory, but I also have some of my own. I'm not against the idea of an alternate universe Robotnik taking over as a main villain in other movies. Otherwise if by some chance that Robotnik did survive, maybe he's not quite as evil as he was in Sonic 1 and 2. Maybe he becomes more of an anti-villain or a morally grey villain, who is still wants to take over the world but isn't quite as hostile towards Sonic and his friends as he used to be. Maybe he has his moments where he helps them out.

My main theory is that the Robotnik we know did die, but perhaps before he did he stored most of his memories (before his heroic sacrifice), plus had some blu-prints and prototypes of some hyper intelligent artificial intelligent robots who planned to use in his world domination. From them, Stone creates Metal Sonic and also a cyborg version of Dr Robotnik to stand in for his beloved boss.

Maybe poor Stone has had something of a breakdown over losing the doctor and feels the need to complete his work to make up for his death and failure to complete his final plans. He wants revenge against G.U.N for their part in his bosses demise, take over the world and get rid Sonic (more as a means to an end of completing his boss' plans than out of a personal vendetta against Sonic). That's where Metal Sonic comes in to do his dirty work, while the cyborg Robotnik not only gives the appearance of the doctor still being alive and succeding in his plans to take over the world, but also gives Stone an emotional crutch of sorts so he can pretend that the doctor is still alive and he's still working as his "sycofriend", and uses this so he doesn't have to face the reality that Dr Robotnik is dead.

Maybe Amy reveals that Dr Robotnik is actually a robot by crushing him with her hammer and the doctor repairs himself as easily as he's destroyed. This gives Sonic a "Whhhaaatttt!" reaction and he makes a T-1000 callback reference. Maybe we as the audience are as surprised as Sonic to find out that Eggman isn't the Eggman we know.

Maybe Stone has a complete breakdown at the end of the film where he threatens to harm Amy for "Ruining everything!" (maybe somehow Cyborg Robotnik gets completely destroyed thanks to her and Sonic or perhaps the cyborg betrays Stone as it doesn't feel the connection to Stone the way the real Robotnik sort of did). Sonic and even Amy herself try to calm Stone down and he goes into an angry tirade about how he's lost everything because of them. Maybe he can't bring himself to kill Amy (as the have developed a friendly frienemyship over the course of the movie) and he breaks down in tears over losing Robotnik (finally coming to terms with his grief). He hoped that in building Dr Robotnik he could bring back his beloved doctor and not have to feel the pain of losing him again. Both Sonic and Amy say to Stone that he can't just make a fake Robotnik to hide from his pain and pretend that he's not dead. You can't subsitute the one your loved one with a "perfect replacement", you just need to grieve the one you lost and love and remember them in your heart. Only that way can their memory be honoured.

Maybe after receiving comfort from Sonic and Amy does Stone try help them to stop Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic of course rejects redemption and his Master, and possibly upgrades himself to Neo Metal Sonic.

I believe the message of the film will be about accepting and loving yourself for who you are rather than trying to be perfect. It's also about how those who truly love you accept you warts and all. They help you to improve yourself, but they don't try to change the person you are. 😁🥰

For those that don't know, the Pope was mad at Galileo for an unflattering portrayal. For this insult, he was sentenced to house arrest in his villa at the age of 69, where he entertained guests and was allowed to travel for medical reasons until his natural death at 77.

I still hear people saying he was burned alive or the like.

From what I remember, Galileo was taking what was still theory at the time, and teaching it as fact, which was what people initially took issue with. It may be self-evident today, but Renaissance folk couldn’t exactly fly up to check.

The Pope, a friend of Galileo, suggested that he write a paper arguing for said theories, suggesting several popular counter-arguments that he could try to rebut.

Galileo proceeded to write a dialogue where several characters debated his theory. The one who brought up the counterarguments was named “Stupidhead”.

Galileo didn't exactly roll high Wisdom there, calling someone stupidhead (even when accurate) doesn't make their head less stupid, it just makes it harder.
