Volo’s relationship with LGBT+ stuff and his orientation is.........funny-

Were you to ask of his label or something, he’d think of himself as somewhat of a demisexual, or grey ace, that such things don’t trouble him.... Except they actually do. He is massively Bisexual, and just likens his first/current target of attraction as ‘perfect’, as deified and fit for a ‘god’ like him. His attraction is above average, but he finds himself hyperfixating and excuses it away. Volo just starves himself of the normalcy for self-religious pursuit, and he finds himself above that judgement of the church. To stray from the cold and conditional trials of organized cishet-norm religion is godlike.

He would also consider himself cis*, despite his queer presentation....and somewhat fetishizes people’s transness, especially that of a partner or close friend. That they are ‘playing God’ in a way more suited to his, an inherent rejection of that which is.

His attraction is not neat and calm, tending to play upon power dynamics in an unhealthy way- The way that he loves is healthy, but the intensity probably is not. He leans just a little into viewing a relationship as one person being the property of another- not fully, but in charge, bossy, whathaveyou, and would likely have to unlearn some of this. He is possessive and/or clingy, which leads to moments of just being a brat regardless of context.

He’s basically a huge ally and member.....but romanticizes people he likes and puts them on a pedestal, even if he himself is also up there- Said pedestal for himself also drops sharply post-game, moreso in main verse.

Volo is full of cis nonsense, by the way. But he’s trying. He’s Bi, and? kinda? for gender equality? But he suffers from a huge amount of hetnorm that his society has preserved. He may or may not even realize it.

So, unfortunately, for someone like Felix, he fetishizes his androgyny and transness.
