His journey had certainly taken a turn down a very very VERY long detour. How long had he wandered, how had he come here? Who knows? He wasn't sure so he would continue to wander. Just travel the world, see things, record them in his journal (translation, some scraps of paper he had tucked in his pocket that were probably sweat logged by now), and add it to the collection in the Belmont Hold.
Only now, he had no idea where he was. Maybe he should have taken some maps in addition to the papers. But then where was the fun in that? Other than the possibility he may not know the way back.
Trevor took a turn down a trail, beginning to spot some structures, the architecture was different than what he was used to, although he could have sworn he'd seen images of buildings like this back in the Hold. The Belmonts had recorded all manner of beasties that had been hunted and slain across the known world, which of course involved traveling to the far east. Trevor had even attempted to learn the language, thinking himself functional enough with it, though he still had a hard time reading.
Now... to figure out which part of the East he was even in! Though, it seemed the answer to that question would have to wait, as he heard the sounds of fighting up ahead. Rushing down the path, he spots a girl with a bow, next to a bizarre contraption that was collapsed in a heap on the road, the lone girl, dressed in bizarre clothes, a white shirt and a short skirt, battling what looked to be a giant ogre.
No time to think, he acted on impulse, rushing to her aid, he grabbed the strange two-wheeled mechanism on the road, it was awkward, but had some heft to it, which meant it would hurt like hell when she smashed it into the monster's face! "<Sorry about that, mind if I cut in?>" He asked the girl, the monster looked to be an Oni, which meant this was probably Japan, so he attempted to speak in what he thought was Japanese.
In reality, he was speaking in a hodgepodge of various Asian languages... should have studied harder.
