I hate being sick

I hate being prickled from inside

Tablets I swallow are

Unable to release me.

The hot brewed tea my mom served

Tinkled my innards.

Now I am thinking,

When will this ordeal pass.

And in such desperate moments,

I remember how this too shall pass.

And I waited for that time.

I still wait now.

Counting days which I have.

I still patiently awaits.
