Update 2.0

As some of you might know I was hospitalized on the 15th of February (I know great valentines day gift) for pancreatitis caused by gallbladder stones. I was in the hospital for a little over a week because not only did I have have pancreatitis I was also 18 weeks pregnant.

After a week of not being able to eat or drink anything at all I was told they were going to remove my gallbladder. They did and at the moment I am still in recovery at home but I am happy to say that everything went splendidly. They removed my gallbladder and my baby is growing healthier day by day.

I also wanted to take this update to say that I am going to be getting back to writing really soon so be on the lookout for some updates.

I am so.... fucking.... tired

So just yesterday (technically 2 days ago?) I had to call off work due to being physically ill. Like, i was on my way out the door and threw up. Must have been a 24 hour bug because i felt great today (yesterday?) after sleeping almost 24 hours.

Now, i normally fall asleep naturally about 1 AM. I thought since i was recovering, i should go earlier, about 10-11 PM. It is now....350....in the AM....and i am still awake.....

*sobs* there are just.... so many.... story updates I've been getting.

AU: If having a baby at seventeen isn't hard enough, everything in Sango's life had gone wrong and continued to spiral out of control. There wasn't much for her to live for. But she had to keep strong, for the sake of her child.

As predicted, I just finished chapter 17 of Keeping Strong and sent it off to my beta! So expect an update in the coming weeks. 

Also, guess who already opened a fresh document to start on chapter 18?

Updates Galore!

Matchups will start to be worked on tomorrow, I’ve realized I’m tired and can’t think so ya know, sleep!

We’ve been gone for months, time to get on top of things we’ve meant to bring up along with a few other things!

Everything will be under the cut because we know updates can get long sometimes!

(Angela is you see anything wrong with something then just let me know, I’m going to start dishing things out after this but I won’t put in the new matchup thing until you’ve given the go on it)

Alright, first off let’s go over some things for tomorrow that will go on this weekend. Because of how long we’ve been gone it’s time for some fun things to do while we slowly go through the matchups.

Why am I adding more to our work load? Because why not, let’s do this, who needs sleep anyway.

This weekend Scenario Sundays will be back along with Headcanon Monday.

SS is something we’ve done once or twice in the past, essentially you send in a prompt and we’ll write a short (if we can keep it short) story to it!

HM is a new day that will be done every now and then. Basically just give us a character/team/whatever from any of the shows and ask for headcanons on them. (How are they when they’re sick, sexuality, literally anything).

Next are some updates we’ve meant to post but we haven’t been active enough to go through with them yet. It’s easier to put everything in one post for now so I’ll put the one’s we’ve made out here.

In one matchup the person decided to tell us they’re pansexual and genderfluid. This is an amazing thing to know! This is also our first matchup that actually brings this up so I want to talk about this:

If you want your matchup to be different for any reason (reasons such as your sexuality or anything like that) then PLEASE tell us!

This goes for any sexuality whether you’re demisexual, pansexual, bisexual, literally any kind of sexuality! We don’t want you guys to be afraid of telling us, we won’t judge you and if anyone sends in hate concerning that matchup it will be deleted right away. If you aren’t comfortable with people knowing your sexuality then of course you don’t have to tell us, being an anon is always an option though if you do want us to know without people knowing who you are.

I only bring this up as I don’t want us to start excluding people. Our default is just to do a male matchup, and despite the slightly limited amount of girls in these shows it would still be an option for us to match anyone with one of those ladies. Along with the chance of having a male or female option for a match (or both), just knowing the sexuality in general would give us more details on how you and your match might interact.

I’m sorry if some people are bothered by this post, but I wanted to bring it up!

Fun Fact: I’m aromantic, that’d be an awesome thing to know if I sent in a match

((also if anyone sends us anon hate of any sort because of you sharing your sexuality Admin Bakagami will call up Karasuno on speed dial and have the boys track that person down and…. give them a good talk about how judging others is wrong and that they should respectfully take their disagreements elsewhere or agree to disagree *doesn’t believe violence is the answer, but if it was I would also tell them to punch that meanie in the face with a volleyball (>o<)/* okay but violence is not the answer so don’t be violent and love others okay good))

The next one is more of a pet peeve for me since I’ll normally be the one regulating the inbox.

I know you’ve all probably seen the occasional @ ____ Anon posts I make so we can get the shows for those matches since it happens decently often.

And I wanna talk about that because if you’re off anon normally we can just message you and ask for the shows, with anons we can’t really do that.

So, if an anon sends a request without their shows then we’ll probably post it with a description asking them to resend the ask posted with the shows added.

Of course I need to run this by Admin Bakagami but I’m sure she’ll be fine with it. It’s just slowly becoming a hassle as we can’t do much with those asks until they finally check the blog and are like “Oh shit, forgot my shows” and quite positive the anon I’m trying to find now isn’t a follower either as the @ messages normally give good response. Of course I’m not saying you have to be following or anything like that but especially if you aren’t just please make sure you have everything!

That’s really all, we’ve tried stressing the adding shows part throughout the actually blog itself and I guess some just skim over it? I don’t know, this isn’t to call anyone out or make anyone feel bad, but I just wanted to talk about it.

Next is probably one of the more important updates that came up between us around June I think. This involves changing how exactly we write our matchups for you guys.

This would probably be implemented after we clean out the current matchups, as what we currently do is what they technically “signed up” for.
