*Me and K. Rool are out for dinner for a date. The two of us even decided to dress nicely for this date, in suits. To me it was just a normal date, I didn’t think much of it, but little did I know K. Rool was planning something big.*
*The two of us were in the middle of eating, just talking*
Me: Mmm… I absolutely love this place, thanks again for taking me here Rooly.
K. Rool: Hehe, no problem hun. I know how much you love it here, it’s the least I can do for the love of my life.
Me: I still wonder why you just suddenly wanted to have a date. Usually we plan those ahead of time.
K. Rool: *Blushes a bit* I thought we could start the new year with a bang, have a good start y'know?
Me: Hehe, that’s really thoughtful. But… we agreed that we would do it later in the month though.
K. Rool: I-I just couldn’t wait, that’s all!
Me: Heh, still impatient at times huh?
*As I laugh, K. Rool takes a deep breath and gives a signal to someone, then that person runs off*
K. Rool: …I’m gonna stop beating around the bush. Cobolt, we need to talk
*K. Rool says in such a serious tone, I couldn’t help feeling a bit nervous*
Me: Um… okay. What do you want to talk about?
*And as it was on cue, the music in the restaurant starts to play the Luma theme from Mario Galaxy, one of my favourite music tracks*
K. Rool: Cobolt… the time we have spent together, has been the happiest era of my life. Every time I’m having such an awful day, or whenever I face a bitter defeat, you have always been there to slap a smile on my face.
You have shown me how I could improve, and how I should face certain situations. I completely appreciate you, for being my guide whenever I mess up greatly. You have shown me how I should live life to the fullest, and to give things like cocooning a shot. You’re always giving me a good laugh, comforting me when I cry, and overall being such a wonderful partner. Despite the fact I’m a villain, that didn’t stop you for continuing to show me love.
Your smile… it has the power the brighten up even the darkest of times. And that hardworking attitude, it’s admirable how you push yourself for the sake of me and our friends. And all those moments we had together. That time in the dungeon, that time you chased after that crazy snake, and even the small times when we just sat together on my ship. Those moments gave me a feeling that I have never felt in such a long time, satisfaction. I don’t know where my life would be without you.
Me: …W-Where are you going with this..?
*K. Rool then gets up from his seat and stands to the side of me, I turn to face him. I then see him kneel down on one knee. At that moment I knew, and I started tearing up. K. Rool takes a small box out of his pocket, and opens it to reveal a diamond ring*
K. Rool: Cobolt… my beloved kobold… will you marry me?
Me: O-Oh my god… YES! Yes of course I will!
*I get up from my seat and hug K. Rool tightly as I cry with overwhelming joy. Everyone surrounding us claps for us, (you can put any of your characters here)*
K. Rool: This purposal wasn’t anything big, I’m sorry…
Me: A-Are you kidding? It’s perfect…

*A round the tables was a mix of clapping, cheering and joyful cries seeing the proposal*
