Feyre shook her wrists, willing the flames to be doused from her training. She had pushed herself hard, harder than she had before. She padded through the apothecary, a place she was slowly becoming more familiar with as she became more familiar with her powers.
She hadn’t spoken a word about them to anybody yet, afraid that they would see her differently. Doyle, especially. He was too close to her heart, too important, and she was terrified he’d think she was a freak. The people at the apothecary, however, made it all feel a little more normal. Even for a few hours, while she was practicing.
And Christopher..
She wasn’t even sure if she should even tell him at all. Or how she would bring it up. It seemed like they were getting along fine, which she was content with, but this might be too large of a bomb to drop on something so fragile.
Her head throbbed, fatigued from the hard work. “Jun!” She called from one side of the building, slowly working her way through as she held her head. “Are you here?”
