šgriselda,š she responds, guiding the younger witch across another street and turning into a nearby alleyway. a few feet into the alleyway, she vanishes. she waits just on the other side of the invisible door. when feyre meets her through it, she extends her arms forward. šwelcome to your new home away from home.šÂ
theyŽre standing at the entrance of the circle of aetherŽs headquarters, a large, victorian-style building worthy of being a museum. anyone looking from the street would only see a block of old apartment buildings. she smiles at feyre. šthereŽs a lot of ground to cover, and youŽll learn the basics soon enough.š there are several mages in the building now, practicing light-bending spells, cleaning their area with hands-free spells, practicing transfiguration spells, going about their business. šweŽre here to help you, if youŽll have us.š
It felt like the wind was knocked from her lungs as she took in the sight of the building. Tears pricked her eyes at Griseldaâs words and threatened to spill down her face as the reality that she wasnât alone anymore sunk in. A relieved smile grew on her face as her gaze returned to Griselda and absentmindedly wiped away a stray tear. âReally?â She sniffled and took a few steps forward from the invisible door. âI would love that. Please.â She nodded and wiped her eyes dry once more.Â
âI donât want to be a danger anymore. Iâm terrified that Iâll hurt somebody.â She frowned as she looked at her hands as they left her face, the faces of her friends flashed in her mind, âBut... I can learn to control this?âÂ
