There weren’t many things in life Feyre disliked more than being interrupted while she was busy.
She had spent a large portion of her morning with a new client, removing memories and creating false ones to fill in the gaps as per their request. It wasn’t unusual to have a client ask for those kinds of services - after all she was known as a last resort warlock; one who would take on a task other warlocks had refused on moral grounds. In this day and age she could afford to be picky with who she helped and who she didn't, but memories had always been her thing, something she could do better than any other warlock in Britain. However, the fact that she would do things other warlocks wouldn’t meant she wasn’t exactly popular. Hence her surprise when she stepped out into her garden to pick fresh herbs for her stores only to find someone watching her from outside her fence. She stopped in her tracks, locked in a staring competition with the uninvited guest.
“I’m surprised to see you here... after last time,” the corners of her mouth twitched like she was trying to suppress a smile.
