Whats the hardest thing about being a mother to children with time coursing through their veins?

“For the longest time, there was the constant worry that they’d be kidnapped as I was...that Kovarian and the Silence would try to use them to kill the Doctor. But there are other things that make life difficult. One of our children, Jack, he was born with one heart. And one heart isn’t enough for to sustain Time Lord biology. Not properly anyway. Every birthday of his that we’re able to celebrate is a blessing. It’s so hard for him to breathe properly...and he’s already spent so much of his young life in and out of hospitals. It’s heartbreaking.”

Whats the biggest spoiler about your life with the Doctor that you've stumbled upon?

“We do our best to avoid spoilers with one another, but...one time I was with an older version of him than I thought...found out he and I had children. It made things difficult for me for a while because my proper version of the Doctor and I struggled to have children for a while. I didn’t know that we were going to adopt a perfect little boy. But we did. And eventually we were able to have a couple more of our own.”

Pain No Parent Should Ever Know//closed

River was in agony; she felt as though she'd been stabbed in each heart, or as if someone had ripped her hearts from her chest. Aden had holed himself up in his room, while the Doctor and Clara were trying their best to explain to little Susan and Jamie why one of their brothers would not be coming home again. She'd cried so many tears in the hospital, she thought she'd surely run out.

She needed help. Her husband was trying his best, she knew...but she'd wanted him to help with the other children.With a shaking hand, she reached for her mobile and dialed the number of the man for whom her lost little boy had been named.
