Umbra <Mafia> is currently recruiting!

On the surface, The Sanguine Shadow is a simple Gridanian dive bar that provides comfort food, drinks, and the occasional entertainment for the general public.

However, for those with either a keen eye, or the right connections, The Sanguine Shadow's existence serves a double-purpose— steady income, and the public front for the underground operations of the family that resides there— Umbra.

Thievery, extortion, racketeering, spying, information-gathering, drug dealing, smuggling, settling underworld disputes, assassination—these are but some of the things that the Umbra family offers.

Above all else, the Umbra family takes care of its own. Family is first and foremost their top priority, and even beyond the desire for gil and action that drives the members of Umbra seek to apply their trade, they look out for one another in all that they do—their unwavering loyalty and camaraderie to the family triumphs over all, and they will stop at nothing to ensure that this remains so.

Blood is thicker than water.

To betray The Family and go back on not only one's contract, but one's oath, is not something that is taken lightly, and those that do face punishments far worse than a simple death.
