Immediately after the wedding I was looking forward to see my new husband settle in. But he was NOWHERE on the whole map to be found for some reason.

Instead the creepy mayor lady decided to hide inside the cliff on my farm. Did he bury her there? If so, he must've done a poor job, as she clearly survived (and eventually got out off screen by herself).

I only found the hubby after dark, and he had the gall to ask me, what I've been up to, AS IF HE DID NOT ABANDON ME AFTER THE WEDDING??

Anyway, we went back to sitting on a log. My Our own log now.

Also, thinking now, I am not entirely sure, if he even can get inside the house. I have only ever seen him hang out outside. Looking at things, looking kind of sad. Maybe I never invited him in? Possibily for the best...

To actually get married, you need to pay TEN THOUSANDS COINS to the greedy mayor woman. I mean. Huh? It's no wonder nobody else is getting married in this town.

She does throw in an attire for you though. Those are the three options you get. By the way, in the usual character creation you can choose (and later change) your body type, hair, voice, and pronouns all separately from one another in any combination. So this part is lovely.

My man, naturally, is not normal and a) HE DID NOT DRESS UP and b) HE HAS BROUGHT AN AXE TO THE WEDDING.

So that's cool, that's my life now. You also can not abandon your beloved at the altar, just in case you're wondering. Or maybe it's just my man, just because he has brought and repeatedly readied and cleaned the sharp axe he managed to bring in past security.

The speech that lady gave was awful, obviously, which should not have been surprising. The people in the audience seem generic and unfamiliar, so idk why I have been befriending the town people, really, or who decided the seat chart (probably the evil mayor).

Jack has said some sweet words, WHILE SHARPENING HIS AXE on one knee, so that's bee's knees. Overall, just happy not to be axe murdered on my wedding day.

After the fifth date, there's nothing more to say. Time to get married, of course. Kinda funny, but it is when I choose to propose, he proposes first!

On the fifth date we were STANDING. And he told me he did NOT want to be a logger anymore. Wow. Some real plot twist here.

The fourth date was another log sitting date, but in a more... remote area...

On the second date he.. was possibly hiding behind a tree in the background? Or dug himself under the beach? Anyway, more log sitting time for me.
