I got this cute 3D piece done from @nikashepard for her Ko-fi event. A picture that will be pulled straight from my fanfiction for my FFXV/ Kingsglaive character and her significant other, Prompto. I really love this piece and hope to commission you again in the future! 💛💜💛💜💛💜
Rare footage of Ravus He's laughing tho 😂 but looks so weird when I cut off the pic 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it is nice to see, right? Hahahahaha
❤ My own character from comrades in the ffxv main game ❤
Oreana in Eos. ♥ Now to be a nerd and headcanon about this when able, because doing the online stuff is going to take some getting used to as I fumble about and be nervous around people I don’t know. @_@;;
I love my comrades characterrrr, trying to recreate Lyra, of course.
Things that Comrades could have done better
Okay after 20h of gameplay I’m starting to miss some stuff. I have still not reached the end, so if any of these points is actually addressed later, my bad.
More interactions with Ignis, Gladio and Prompto. Or at least update WTF are they doing. I lit half of the continent by now, 3 out of the 4 major stringholds and they all have appeared just once, didn’t say anything beside ‘Training with you for when the king returns’. What are you up to guys?
More Cor and Libertus. Since they appeared at the beginning I haven’t heard or seen of them. Cor is supposedly commanding all the crownsguard, glaives and hunters, putting him somewhere in Lestallum wouldn’t have hurt anybody. Pretty much the same about Libertus.
Your so called memories. So the game starts how you have lost your memories and how with time they will come back...they don’t. I believe Libertus here might have been helpful talking about the Glaives (in general) and what you guys used to do etc. Maybe even talking about Nyx.
Mother fucking Nyx, so Nyx was big deal in the Glaive but beside Libertus no one seems to remember who that guy was. I understand that Kingsglaive was planned after the game and the whole complicated drama around the film and the game bla bla BUT the story won’t suffer dramatically if someone somewhere mentions Nys. Just so my heart could be broken.
At some point it gets SUPER repetitive. No idea if it’s because I play 90% of the time with AI or what but I need 30 000kw to get to Goldin Quay and all the missions I have avaible right now the max kw they give me is below 8000. And I have completed these missions. Meaning I have to replay about 4-5 of these in order to make the story progress (the story that has not progressed since the game started.
You get people telling you stuff like how a witch told the Marshal not to look for the king etc. but...would have been way t better to have short secenes out of that. Not even some fancy cutscenes. Like Cor calling you and saying hey we are not looking for Noct anymore, go on with your other business.
Don’t get me wrong I love the game. I love having 2 more minutes of Cor time and an explanation of what was Libertus about all that time, but there are just things missing and they are not that difficult to fill.
FFXV Comrades Fanfiction
*SPOILER ALERT*
If you have played Final Fantasy XV and/or watched the Kingsglaive movie that accompanies it, and completed the Prompto DLC, read at your own risk. There are major spoilers in here... So don't say I didn't warn you...
Chapter Four
Lumine watches as Prompto shifts in the drivers seat, clearly nervous. She sighs, turning to look forward. "I can't believe you bribed me with fancy sweets to drive a rare and expensive car at night, when deamons are crawling all over..."
Prompto chuckles. "What can I say?" He begins, smiling smugly. "I'm very convincing." Lumine scoffs, shaking her head. "Admit it: I'm doing pretty well considering I hadn't driven in quite a while."
Lumine laughs now. "You're not really convincing me with that. Quite the opposite. Now I feel even more mortified that you're at the helm." They both laugh.
Prompto sighs. "This sure does feel nostalgic though. I used to take a ton of road trips with the guys back before..." His voice trails off. "Well, yeah. Before..." Lumine gives him a sad smile. His gaze lingers a bit on her scar. Prompto frowns, a serious look falling onto his face. "Hey, Lumine... Can I ask you something?" Lumine looks over at him, cocking an eyebrow. He hesitates a moment, but asks. "How'd you get that scar?" He takes a quick glance over to her. She gasps slightly. "I mean... I meant to ask you... But I could never figure out how to ask." He shrugs. "It's okay if you don't wanna answer."
Lumine is silent a good long moment. So long that Prompto begins to think that she won't answer. She clears her throat. "I was in an orphanage till I was 14..." She starts. "I was removed from said orphanage due to the incident that gave me my scar." Lumine folds her hands. "Basically, back then, people slowly found out I was a Niff. I would have things thrown at me in the street. And somedays, I'd be beaten up or tripped... Then, one day, out of no where, a man grabbed me and dragged me into a back alley." She swallows hard. "He pulled out a knife. And... was ready to kill me." She sighs. "I was able to escape... but only because I had killed him first..." Lumine places her hand on her scar. "I was 12 years old." Prompto doesn't say anything. Lumine strokes the thick scar that runs over the bridge of her nose and over the left side of her face. "I have many scars... but... this one was the one that changed everything. After that, for the next two years, it was nothing but fighting and surviving till I was finally removed from the orphanage and placed into the hands of the state. But by then... I had many scars that would not heal..." She looks over at Prompto. She smiles sadly, halfheartedly. "Say something, Prompto. You're making me nervous."
He clears his throat before laughing, awkwardly. "I just..." His voice trails off, not knowing how to respond. "Such a... heartbreaking story." He glances over. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." Prompto's voice shakes a bit. "You must have felt so alone." Prompto shakes his head before he gives her a sad smile. "I wouldn't have been able to go through that. You must have been very brave."
Lumine shakes her head. "Not at all..." She replies. She looks out her window, resting her chin on her hand, placing her elbow against the window. "I was terrified of people. I couldn't trust anyone..." The car falls silent and Lumine loses herself in thought. (I didn't trust anyone, because...) Her eyes narrow at her reflection in the car window. (If anyone had known what I really was... They would have tried killing me like that man. Without a moment's hesitation...)
Prompto readjusts his hold under Lumine's legs. He was carrying her, piggybacked, up to her apartment. He'd had her over a few times. But he had never gone over to her place. But she had fallen asleep and had been a bit exhausted after the trip. He fiddles with the keys that she had sluggishly handed him after he'd attempted to wake her. As he stops at her door, he slides the key in the lock, and it unlocks the door. Lumine hadn't been as heavy as he thought she'd be. He opens the door and hops a bit to get a better hold on her. He laughs, looking over his shoulder at her sleeping face. "You're always complaining about your weight, when you shouldn't be, silly."
He walks through and takes a second to witness something unexpected. Even though the lights were off, she has festival lights hanging from the ceiling, lighting the foyer of her apartment. He turns in to see her studio apartment. A clean and crisp apartment with no walls except for the corner separating where her bathroom is. He spies a bed in the corner, with purple frills and lace on the comforter. He walks over and turns, gently dropping her to the bed.
She tosses a little before sitting up and blinking a few times. "Well, hi." He says, tussling her hair a bit and patting her on the head. She stretches a bit before yawning.
She scowls a little, with realization where she was. "Did you carry me to my apartment?" She asks, a bit taken aback. He smiles and her eyes widen a bit. She blushes. He chuckles at her as she slams her face into her pillows, hiding her face and groaning.
"Stop being so embarrassed." Prompto says, standing up to look around. The apartment itself is run down and small. But is quaint and is decorated with artistic flare. Lumine stands up and walks over to her door before switching the lights on. He looks around and sees her wall of pictures. "Did you take these?" He asks. He walks over and examines them. She slips her boots off at the door.
"Most of them. Yeah." She slips on some slippers. Prompto looks down at his boots and gasps a little.
"Oops!" He trots over and slides his boots off. "Sorry... I-." She watches him and pushes some slippers over for him.
She laughs. "It's fine. You were carrying this sack of potatoes." She tells him, waving it off. He puts the slippers on and frowns.
"You know... You really shouldn't say such mean things about yourself." Prompto begins. He shakes his head. "I didn't think you were heavy at all. I carried you without any issue." Lumine looks away. He smiles. "You've got nothing to worry about. Trust me." He walks back over to the wall of pictures. "Moving on, you're actually pretty good at taking pictures." He moved closer to look at one.
Lumine clears her throat. "Well, I'm not as good as you. But thanks." She walks over to the kitchen area in the corner. She removes some glasses from the cupboard.
"Some of these are Insomnia, right?" He looks over his shoulder at her. "You know, before?"
She walks over and smiles. "Yeah." She tells him. "I lived there since I joined the Lucian military. Or, well, since they took me in from the state and signed me into the Kingsglaive." Lumine hands Prompto a glass of water. Prompto smiles. "I tried to take pictures of how I wanted to remember Insomnia." She feels her smile fade. "In case something ever happened... and I was forced to leave Lucis."
Prompto doesn't say anything. He clears his throat, catching her attention. He sets his glass of water down before stretching. "Well, I'm beat." He says, smiling. "I should probably head back. We can take the car and photos to Cindy in the morning." Prompto turns to leave. Lumine reaches and takes him by the right wrist. He looks at her, alarmed.
Lumine looks at him. "Why don't you stay the night? I have a fold out mattress sofa." She asks, looking at the sofa in the living area. He blinks a few times. "I mean..." Lumine releases his hand, looking at the floor. "I... don't want to be alone tonight... for some reason..."
Prompto smiles after thinking it over a bit. He nods. "Sure."
Lumine opens her eyes. She can hear Prompto's sleeping breaths a little ways away. She sits up, and exhales a bit. She slips out of bed, and walks over quietly. He's sound asleep it looks like. She smiles, and makes sure the covers are covering him, pulling them up a bit over his exposed shoulder. She walks over to the kitchen area, stretching. (Why?) She thinks to herself. She places both hands on the counter, her breath catching in her throat.
She closes her eyes. (Why do I... try to get closer? Why am I... allowing him to break my walls?) She runs her hand through her hair. (I mean, I've never let anyone in my apartment... And I've never gotten close to anyone like this. Not even Sadda...) She looks up at him, tears forming in her eyes. (How can he... so effortlessly let me let him in?) She covers her mouth, sliding down the side of the counter, holding onto the countertop. (Do I... even deserve a friend like him?)
She purses her eyebrows, looking up and over the counter. She watches as Prompto shifts in his sleep. Why bother asking the question? She knows the answer. (If he... knew who I was... or what I was...) She exhales. (He'd turn his pistol on me without a doubt...)
Lumine wakes up to the sound of her cellphone alarm. She yawns, and stretches. She sits up, reaching for her phone on her bed stand. She goes to swipe the screen, and instead, sees a yellow sticky note on her cellphone screen. She cocks an eyebrow, peeling it off and swiping her alarm off. She looks at the note.
"Check the counter. ;)"
She looks over to the kitchen counter, where a purple box with a silver bow sat. She blinks, curiosity taking hold. She stands up, walking over to it, setting her cellphone next to it. She removes the lid. Inside is a folded piece of paper, the snacks Prompto had promised her, and another tiny box. Most likely wooden. She removes the folded paper, and smiles. She unfolds it and begins to read Prompto's messy scribbles for handwriting.
"Hey. I'll take the car and photos to Cindy. You just focus on relaxing. Don't worry. I won't crash the car." Lumine smiles to herself. "Here are the snacks I promised. Melon Flavored Cactaur Drops, Chocobo Chocolates, and Moogle Marshmallows." She chuckles once. "There is something else... Something I got for you. But before you open it, I wanted to tell you thank you..." She blinks, her jaw dropping a little. "Being on the road with you. Laughing, driving, having a good time... It brought back some great memories of better times. So thank you for that." Lumine swallows hard. "I was always by myself when I was a kid. Before I met Noct and the guys, I was pretty lost, and lonely. But, I did. And now, even though things are bad, and I mean like bummer bad, I never really feel lonely." Lumine feels her breath catch in her throat. "When I met you... I saw a lot of my past self in you. So that's why I decided to do what I wished others would all along do for me, and become your friend." Lumine purses her lips. "So, since I've made everything a bit too real, I'll leave you with this. Have a nice day off. And enjoy these snacks and the present I got you.
Your buddy, Prompto."
She numbly places the note onto the counter, and removes the snacks from the box. She also takes the small wooden box out too. At the bottom of the box, however, was a photo. A selfie he had taken with her in the car. She places it on the counter, and takes the wooden box into her hand. She opened it up, and sees a pair of golden earrings. A familiar pair that she had looked at before.
She had thought them beautiful. But she gave up on them, thinking they were too... too nice for someone like her. On the top of the box was another yellow sticky note. "Happy Late Birthday." Lumine's lips quiver. Tears fall from her eyes, down her cheeks, and onto the kitchen counter.
"I don't..." She sobs. "I don't deserve any of this..."
Prompto leans against the desk, Monica looking over the maps. "Any chance that your Glaive partner will be helping you today?"
"Today's her day off for once. So I might need to find something only I can handle..." Prompto answers. Monica nods, but something catches her attention, making her smile.
Someone walking up behind Prompto alarms him. "Actually," Lumine begins, placing her hands on the map and leaning forward, "we should pick a daemon extermination mission." She smiles to Monica. "Maybe something that the two of us can handle." Prompto blinks, seeing the glitter of gold, hanging from her right ear lobe. She turns to him, golden earrings swaying with every movement of her head. The pair of earrings he'd gotten her taking up the two piercings on her right ear, and a single gold stud on her left. "What say you..." Lumine asks. "Prompto?" She holds a fist out to him.
He takes a second, before smiling himself. Prompto nods. "Of course!" He bumps fists with her, and looks back down at the map, excitement lighting his face.
