i know how you feel, really, i have 16 cats (and 4 dogs), i'm not kidding, and is scary to think that I'm going to have to say goodbye so many times, maybe i'm going to feel a little less bad everytime but idk, the thing that makes me feel good is that I make their lifes better, with a safe home, food everyday, taking care of them the best that I could and that's all they want, being safe and loved

!!!! 16 cats and 4 dogs!!! wow we have 5 cats which is still a lot but i guess after today we’ll only have 4…and that’s what makes me happy as well but i wish they would live as long as we do you know? it’s just too heartbreaking to think that when i’m older all of my cats won’t be here :(

i understand you, the same happen to me almost two months ago with one of my cats, the day that the vet was going to make him the studies to see if he was going to survive (bc we could see that he didn't wanted to give up) he died from a heart attack, after all he was really bad and maybe it was the best way to leave for him if he was going to suffer so much, it broke my heart, if you wanna talk to someone i'm here, even if i'm just a stranger

thank you <3 death sucks, right? i wish we were all immortal so we never had to experience it :( 

the last death i remember that impacted me was in 2005 - our first cat died then. that was ages ago so you know i’m really scared and worried about having to say goodbye to her but i know it’s the humane thing it’s just…i don’t know i don’t know how i’m going to feel and i just am really scared to say goodbye. but i do get, like what you said, that it was the best way for her because otherwise she’s going to have cancer. that’s not good, and if she’s in pain it is the best thing for her but it still really sucks :(
