Would anything change in "Fangs" or "Mirror's Gaze" if they took place in a "Freddie Blake, Daphne Jones, Velma Rogers and Shaggy Dinkley" AU?

Going with PNSD/WNSD because I’m not inflicting MIverse on these kids

Fangs: Shaggy would have a lot harder time hiding his condition from his family, at least long term, since due to his history of insecurity I doubt they’d leave him alone as in the original Fangs. Shaggy and Velma might also have already gotten together prior from bonding over their shared strong need to prove themselves to their families.

 I think otherwise it would mostly be the same aside from Fred feeling some frustration in that this is the one time he would happily throw money at a problem to solve it, but money won’t do a damn thing.

Mirror’s Gaze:

As ended the above, this is once again a time where Freddy would break his oath to not solve problems with the family money, but this time it would  do something, namely get they two groups together in under 24 hours via a private plane.

Shaggy would give off some serious Arthur vibes right out the gate that would have Lewis and Vivi very concerned for him.

Daphne is very solidly Team Mom in the AU, and I think she would carry that over to the Skulls because they are a lot of people who are hurting so badly and really just need to talk to each other.

I think Velma being more aggressive in this AU would be more likely to confront the Skulls when she finds the obituary, rather than try and figure it out herself.
