i mean, it'll take a really long while for things to be normal, but maybe if we got rid of those data centers, made them plant spaces instead or whatever (and this applies to me, i live in a state with bunches of data centers), maybe we'll be better off
maybe if we put more pressure on corps and how they affect the ecosystem, maybe taxed them more for what they do, thatd be good, why does the consumer have to pay tax for a bag when we're just the little footprints in a bigfoot print

thrifted album review day!! today is "Stage [2]" from Sweetback
I picked this one up because of the name... "Sweetback? like the movie? which I literally watched a few days ago???"... This album seems to be no coincidence and has found me instead of me finding it. It's an absolutely stunning album seeping with influences from all kinds of genres, which is why I'll happily call it "Rhythm & Psychedelia"... It also has some more poppy, beat music-like songs (Things You'll Never Know), reggae (All My Days With You), and afrobeat, i believe (Round and Round). It even features some fun sampling and musical references in "Love is the Word".
It starts off pretty heavy, but tracks 10-13 take a much softer route to close out the album. Overall though, if you like bands like Gorillaz or like trip hop or anything experimental/psych, you'd probably like this album.
Favorite songs - Love is the Word, Voodoo Breath, Blue Heights (but Jesus Girl is up there too... It's just a sexy song lol)
