Ten minutes, she couldn’t have been more exited, she was practically jumping out of her skin exited, but she also couldn’t have been more late. Late for work and if she was really unlucky late for meeting her soul mate. But for her that just wouldn’t do. Grabbing her mothers old coat she looked at the time and quickly left the confines of her apartment, luckily her casual running came in handy when she was actually running late for things and at the moment she was putting her legs to good use, making time as she passed through crowds of others walking on the street as well, murmuring apologies as she raced to work.
She swore as she saw the clock turn to one minute, she still wasn’t at work but who was she going to meet on the street, everyone who was walking around her were either obviously a couple or way to old, she continued now at a more jogging pace, hoping she’d make it to work, or at least be in the right place, she kept glancing down at her timer and up again but trying to concentrate on both things, well, it didn’t end well and as she crashed into someone on the street she didn’t get time to look at her timer which now held what she was looking forward to for the majority of her life;
” Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to.. I uh, Hi. “
