History
Born to Justo Sharpe and Kristia Mayes. Her mother had died in childbirth, leaving Justo with custody. Justo was a ringleader of the trafficking circle called “Railroad”. With no legal documentation, since Kristia had her at home, the only known name the girl was given was “17”, which is burned mark on her back left shoulder when she was five.
Fourteen, the Railroad was busted and all of those working went to prison. The children and victims were sent to foster homes or adoption agencies. With 17 being older than many of the other kids, Roger Witsmith had taken her in. He was one of the officers who helped bust the Railroad. He had adopted her, but with her help she picked out a name. Government records state she is Ainsley Witts. Her uncle is Roger Witsmith.
Following Roger’s footsteps, and the wish to help kids lost in the system or never truly looked for, she goes into the detective field. All because Roger used to mention his work during dinner and she always showed interest. The agency had found her when her commanding officer let her go due to her showing up at work drunk. Alcohol helps ease her memories and mind. Such talent couldn’t go to waste, so the agency sent her a letter of employment.
Twenty-six, she showed up at the agency and was given the test and took the training course. First she shadowed Chicago at paperwork, but with her input on some of the cases, she worked her way up to Field Agent to being a leader of a team.
Physical Description
Alaska stands 5'7", but those combat boots give her an extra inch. Dark mahogany color hair always seems pulled back tightly so it doesn’t get in her way. When down, it goes a inch or two down her shoulders. Pin straight and a touch coarse.
Dark blue eyes echo with hurt, but doesn't let anyone in.
With a splash of spanish ancestors, Alaska's skin tans quite easily.
Uniform is comfort. Ripped jeans and a leather jacket helps her blend well with those at a bar. Combat boots give more of a dominant feel to her. If she must wear something formal, she'll wear black heels with nice slacks and a button down.
At the Agency
Coined as “Alaska” since she did not start as a field agent. Alaska is where she was found by her adoptive father. She shadowed Chicago when she first started to work at the agency. Doing paperwork and case files, she needed a name that was a location.
She has worked her way up from paper agent to field agent since Chicago believed her talents were being wasted and she was not being challenged. Working under the Southeast field team, she soon found herself expressing herself better. After years of working as a field agent, she soon worked her way to leader of a team. She leads the F.F.S.T.
