Reno Sinclair x Gender Neutral Reader

I was tired, scared and hurt. What I needed was some comforting words, some affection that would make me feel better and forget about what I had just gone through. Still, a part of me hoped Reno wasn’t waiting for me at home, that he was too busy at work to drop by and see the state I was in.

I wasn’t so lucky. When I arrived, I saw a figure moving and quickly rushing over to me.

“Y/N, you’re back!” Reno muttered. “Geez, you’re scared me so badly!”

Knowing him, I was waiting for him to go on a rant about how I shouldn’t do that to him again, how I should have called him, how he was worried sick and many other things. Which was why I was so astonished by his abrupt silence.

When our eyes met, I recognized many emotions in his. Fear, concern, anger and sadness all at once. His hand gingerly pressed against my cheek and his lips trembled as he prepared to say something.

“I’m fine, it’s fine” I told him before he could utter anything. But he already knew what I had done, where I had been and why I came back injured like that.

“No it’s not, you could have died!” He worriedly looked me up and down, tilting my head to the side to see the damage.

“But I didn’t, I’m here!” I exclaimed, taken aback by the panicked glint in his eyes.

“Who did this to you?” He spoke so quickly that I barely understood him. “I swear, I’m gonna find them and-”

I softly swatted him away, frowning as I stared at him in confusion. Our relationship had been based on a strange flirtatiousness that seemed to hold nothing else behind it. Empty flirting, like how I had seen him flirt with many others without truly wanting anything.

“Why do you care so much?” I dared to ask, noticing how my heart started racing.

Reno paused, frowning himself as he watched me carefully. Every time his eyes fell over my wound, he winced a little. His hand left my cheek, and with the corner of my eye I caught how he angrily pressed it into a tight fist.

“I think I’ve fallen in love with you” He whispered, heaving a sigh right after as though he had taken a weight off his chest.

“R-Reno...” My frown deepened, making me grimace when the dry blood pulled at my skin. “You-”

“I know, I know...” He chuckled, averting his gaze and... was he blushing? It was the first time I saw Reno blush. “It’s sappy as all hell, but it’s true”

I wanted to say something, but I didn’t know what. Even if I did, my voice got caught in my throat and I felt incapable of uttering any sounds. Nonetheless, I opened my mouth, but Reno shook his head.

“No, you don’t have to say anything, Y/N” His hands tenderly fell on my arms. “Just let me take care of you today, okay?”

Moved by his caring demeanor, I only nodded my head. He smiled in response, and didn’t lose one second to wrap an arm around me and help me get inside.

My mistake about the request I didn't see that I needed a title. If possible can I request a sequel to the Love at First Sight drabble you wrote for Cloud Strife. I think him being all flustered is just too cute and irresistible. You can use the title 2and first impressions or love at second sight

Notes: Thanks for getting back to me, this is a sequel to the other Cloud drabble.

When you walked into Seventh Heaven, you first spotted Cloud. He was sitting in a chair, arms crossed and head down. However, he lifted his gaze. Immediately upon noticing you, he straightened up in a rush.

“Hi, Cloud!” You smiled at him, and you saw the corners of his lips twitch in an attempt of a smile of his own.

“Hey” He muttered, standing to his feet. “Uh... Here to see Tifa?”

“Yup” You slapped his arm in a friendly gesture. “You know me so well”

Cloud frowned a little, seemingly flustered by how jovial you always were. Ever since you started coming to visit Tifa, you just enjoyed chatting with him too. Or talking while he listened, rather.

“Hi, Y/N!” Tifa’s voice suddenly interrupted before he could say or do anything. “Thought I heard you”

“Be with you in a moment, I just wanted to ask Cloud...” He had averted his eyes, but he gazed at you with that. “Do you wanna go out some time?”

“I...” He uttered, gawking at you. “Well... I, uh... I...”

“He’d love to” Tifa said for him, shoving him a little.

The blond didn’t say anything, staring at the ground. He was violently blushing.

Reno Sinclair x Gender Neutral Reader

I walked through the Shinra hallways, looking for Reno. His partner Rude had told me he was around, but I had been searching the building for a while now and couldn’t find him. If I didn’t know better, I would think Reno was having a bit of fun in that maze-like place.

A hand suddenly covered my mouth, muffling my loud yelp when another one yanked me and corner me between a wall and a warm familiar body.

“Gotcha” Reno’s familiar voice whispered, and I was suddenly locking eyes with him. “Missed you too, babe”

“You scared me!” I said as soon as I pushed his hand off my mouth.

“Sorry” He pouted a little, trying to appear cute. “Let me make it up to you”

“Wait, I came here to tell you-”

“Sh” He nuzzled my neck as his hands roamed around my body like they had done so many times before. “We have to be quiet”

“I-” My lips parted again, trying to let out all the words I had been rehearsing in my head. However, I hadn’t taken in consideration how persuasive he could be.

The kiss came before I could brace myself for it, and I found myself melting into his touch and recriprocating as my lips moved in sync with his. His touch was intoxicating, and it reminded me why we were in this mess for starters.

When Reno left my lips and moved to my collarbone, I was free to speak again without his hypnotizing influence.

“I shouldn’t be in love with you” I told him, hoping my quick breathing didn’t give away my true feelings. I had to stay strong and end this once and for all.

“So you admit it” He chuckled, wrapping his arms around me and squeezing me against his torso. “You’re crazy for me”

“Reno” Determined, I took his hands off me and glared at him. “I’m serious”

He stopped, heaving a resigned sigh, and attentively looking into my eyes. His expression was grave and solemn, more so than I had ever seen it.

“Fine” With surprising tenderness, Reno put a tuft of hair behind my ear. “What’s on your mind, what’s the matter?”

“This can’t go on” As much as I’d like it to, but I didn’t admit it out loud. “We’ll both get in trouble, and at the very least you’ll get fired”

My secret boyfriend put a hand on his hip and tilted his head to the side. However, a smirk grew on his lips. He seemed to enjoy our relationship as well as the rush of its forbidden nature too much to abandon it.

“If you tell me that you don’t love me and want this to end...” He paused dramatically, carefully resting his hands on my waist. I let him. “If it’s really what you want, okay”

He defiantly stared at me, waiting. The jerk knew far too well it wasn’t what I wanted, that I loved him as much as he loved me. But it was too dangerous to be together. Instead of saying the words I had come to tell him, I didn’t have the courage.

“You have to forget about me” I preferred to tell him, pushing my hands against his chest.

“Make me” He challenged me, inching closer to my mouth again.

I let out a shaky breath, but I was strong enough to resist him this time.

“At least” I smirked as I pushed him off me. “Stop being so busy so we don’t have to meet here”

“You drive me crazy” Reno said, like I hadn’t said anything, leaving a kiss on my cheek.

“Stupid” I chuckled, too endeared by that silly man and his genuine affection.

“Gorgeous” He replied back, and I felt his eyes watching me as I left.

Cloud Strife x Gender Neutral Reader

Sharing a small room wasn’t what I had in mind when I thought about resting after a long and exhausting battle. Especially not if the person I was sharing it with was no other than the ex-Soldier turned merc, Cloud Strife.

The fact that he refused to meet my eyes was telling enough. Cloud awkwardly stood there, crossing his arms over his chest and waiting for my next move.

Amused by his sudden bashfulness, I decided to tease him a little.

“There’s only one bed” I smirked, carefully watching his expression.

Cloud gasped and frowned, turning his head even further away from me.

“I’ll take the floor” He assured, already unsheathing his sword to rest it on the wall.

“Come on, Cloud!” I excitedly patted the bed as I plopped down on it. “Sharing is caring!”

He watched me, unfazed by my infectuous good mood. Seeing that it wasn’t quite working, I tried a different tactic. I wanted him to open up even if just a bit.

“Pretty please?” I pouted a little, trying to appear as adorable as I could. “I wouldn’t rest well knowing you’re sleeping on the hard ground”

“Don’t give me the puppy eyes” Cloud averted his gaze once more, but he turned his body in my direction. It felt like he was a little more receptive now.

“There’s room for the both of us!” I lied down on my side, opening my arms and grinning at him. “Get out of my dreams and into my arms”

He groaned in disgust and rolled his eyes. My smile fell and a non-physical pang arrived to my heart. After everything we had shared that day, after the way we had protected each other in battle... He was refusing me this peaceful moment, he was denying me some much needed comfort from him.

“Fine” He suddenly said as his piercing blue eyes landed over me again. “As long as you don’t say that ever again”

I chuckled in surprise, and I could have sworn the gesture brought a tiny smile to his lips. It was gone before I could assure it was ever there.

“Deal” I followed his every move as he slowly, hesitantly and almost timidly went to lie down with me.

Never meeting my eyes, he settled on his back next to me. I had to supress a laugh when I noticed how much he was leaning towards the edge of the bed not to invade my space.

“Sweet dreams” I mumbled, relaxing as I felt his warmth spreading over to me.

Snuggling closer to him, I put my hand on his shoulder. He stuttered as I got comfortable, laying my arm across his chest. I closed my eyes, hoping I wasn’t making him too uncomfortable.

In the end, though, Cloud relaxed under my touch and sighed.

“Uh...” He muttered in the end. “Goodnight, Y/N”

Hello! A few things: one, this would be a preference since headcanons only include one character or many, but only as a group and not individually. Secondly, can you specify if you meant reader is being embarrassed or if reader catches them in an embarrassing situation? Other than that, it's great! Tifa Lockhart x Male Reader

The 7th Heaven was like a haven for me, a place where I could rest and recover. This time was no different, as my friends had made me feel better in no time. MY recent encounter had been tiring and painful, but as soon as I came in and saw Tifa smiling and offering me a drink, everything was alright.

"I can’t believe it!” Barret laughed after I told them about it, heavily dropping a hand on my shoulder. “You can’t take a couple of enemies on your own, Y/N?”

“I can, better than you” I teased him back, earning a resigned grin from him. Cloud even chuckled from the other side of the bar.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Tifa worriedly stared at me. “You seem tired”

“I’m fine” I opened up my arms to show her I remained in one piece. “They got me in the chest, but I don’t think-”

I stopped myself as I looked down to my shirt. A small amount of crimson seeped through the white fabric of my shirt.

“You’re bleeding!” Tifa hurried to leave her place behind the bar to close the distance between us. “Cloud, get the first aid kit”

“On it” The young man didn’t lose a second to stand up and fetch it.

“Shit, Y/N... I was joking...” Barret watched us in shock. “You really went and got hurt?”

“It’s nothing” More than talking to him, I was saying it to calm Tifa’s obvious concern. “Just a scratch, I’ll be fine”

“That you’ll be” She replied, not establishing eye contact as she busied herself with opening a few buttons from my shirt to reveal part of my bare chest. “Because I’m going to patch you up and then you’re going to rest”

“Yes, ma’am” I playfully told her, grinning at her.

Tifa looked up at me, laughing a little in response. Just then, Cloud arrived with the first aid kit and handed it to her. He and Barret stood there and watched how she patched me up.

“Don’t freak out, Tifa” The latter told her. “Y/N might not look it, but he’s tough”

“Thanks...” I jokingly glared at him, earning a guffaw from my friend.

“He’s fine” Cloud added too. “I’ve seen much worse”

“See? Just a scratch” I kindly squeezed her upper arm to comfort her.

“Good” Tifa’s hands were gentle as she finished treating my wound and put a dressing over it. “Please more careful next time”

“Anything for you, Tifa”

“Shut up” Once she was done, she laughed a little and softly punched me in the arm. I faked to feel deeply hurt by it, grimacing in offence. It only widened her smile.
